Show Table Row While Selecting The Single Field From Listbox?

i am trying to make a vb.net project for a travel agency ..... i have make all of the content of it but i got stuck in listbox .... i have added onnfiled of sql table into the listbox and now i want that when i select the list box content then all the other fields of a the row will automatically come in the rest of the textbox so i can add and delete it manually....... here is my code..... of one form(i have made 13 forms like that)
I am selecting two table schema in a single adapter.

then i am inserting some rows manually on both tables.i want to update the dataset. so that each data table in the datast will be updated in database.how to do this? since i am facing problem that it is updating all the rows in single table.
I'm trying to select a 'Username' value from a table called 'tblUsers' where the 'UserID' is 1 and assign it to the 'Text' property of a field. The SQL command is fine, but I don't know how to assign the value to the file. I've changed the SQL command to select the value I want. I just don't know how to assign it to a field:

There is a label control on .aspx The text "hello" comes from database i.e. label1.text = "hello" Note that, I do not have permission to change the UI code.
I would like to alter the value of the field in the table to show the text as bold i.e. <strong>
To have the text displayed as highlighted i.e. bold, I manually modified the text inside the field of the table to show
<strong>hello</strong>
Is this ok? It does not seem to work because in the label control I see: <strong>hello</strong>
I'm using VB studio express 2008. I have created a combo box which the user uses to search a client, how do i program it so that when the client is highlited in the combo box it will show in a listbox with all the details of this client wich has been added previously to the database.

User browse a client in combo box. Selects a client. Information is shown in a listbox. example. telephone number, address, ect.

I started with two DateTimePicker controls with the custom format of h:mm tt. I tried adding (on ValueChanged), a check that made the selected 'starting time' will become the 'ending times' minimum and vice versa, the 'ending time' becoming the 'starting times' maximum
However, that approach didn't seem to work -- I was still able to select 11.00 AM on the 'ending time' and 1.00 PM on the 'starting time'. I have a feeling that the current day of the timestamp has something to do with it (e.g. the starting time is of the previous day, and therefore is less).
I thought about changing to a combo box of preset half hour intervals throughout the day; however the minutes need to be more flexible than that...

I am building a data based application using VB 2008 an SQL Express. I need to create textboxes on my form using code, (With & End With) method. I need a simple code string that will allow the app to check if the field to wich the textbox wil be databound is Nul, If so the textbox will not be created.
I am using a Strongly Typed Dataset as DAL. I want to return a single column from my table for that i wrote the code as
SELECT DISTINCT Floor FROM Room WHERE (Building = @Building)
But when i previewed the data, it shows me all the columns of the table with Null Value and the column with primary key has -1 value. This condition raise an Exception when i link this query to a ComboBox ..

I am creating a database in VB.NET for a movie rental place. I currently have three forms;
Member Information DVD Information Borrow DVDs
What I would like to do is when I am viewing a member's details, if I click a button 'Borrow DVD for Member', the member's ID number transfers over to the Borrow DVDs table in the Member ID which also would hold some information from the DVD Information table, but I'm sure if i can figure out how to do this firstly, I will be able to apply the same rule and work it out myself.I have been trying to use a query statement like;
INSERT INTO [Borrow DVDs].[Member ID] [IN goodstuffvideos.mdb] SELECT [Member Information].[Member ID] FROM [Member Information]
but that has been coming up with error codes and completely not working.
Borrow DVDs table fields are: Borrow ID, Member ID, DVD ID Number, Hiring Fee, Borrowing Limit?
DVD Information table fields are: DVD ID Number, Title, Rating, Hiring Fee, Borrowing Limit Member?
Information table fields are: Member ID, Family Name, Given Name, Address, Town/Suburb, Postcode?
The error coming up is; Error in INSERT statement. Unable to parse query text.And under that it says The query cannot be represented graphically in the Diagram and Criteria Pane.

I have a project which contains a large number of lookup tables, and I have all of these lookup tables represented in a single typed DataSet, which contains TableAdapters for each lookup. I've designed an editor for these lookup tables, which should allow editing of one of these at a time. My front-end is written in VB and WinForms, the back-end is a SOAP web service; I can successfully pass the changes to the DataSet back to the web service, but can't find a way to use a TableAdapter to update the single table that has been changed.
What I'm trying to do is instantiate the appropriate TableAdapter for the updated DataTable by sending the name of the table back to the web service along with the DataSet, then referring to the TableAdapter with a dynamic name. The normal way to instantiate a TableAdapter is this:
Dim ta As New dsLookupsTableAdapters.tlkpMyTableTableAdapter
What I'd like to do is this, but of course it doesn't work:
strTableName = "tlkpMyTable" Dim ta As New dsLookupsTableAdapters(strTableName & "TableAdapter")
Is there any way to achieve this, or am I taking the wrong approach altogether? My other alternative is to write separate code for each table, which I'd prefer to avoid!
I have a form with a datagridview that show a list of employees. Right next to the datagridview, I have a small set of textbox containing employee information (name, phone, etc) which is my "details section". I have a tableadapter that populate the datagridview, this is working well. Now, what I want is to when I select a row in the datagridview, the details of the employee shows up in the details section.
I tried to bind textboxes to the correct column. It works, but if I specify the datatable a query that will get this employee info, the data of the datagridview change to be the only row in it. I want the list to be showing all results and then the details secion giving only information on the selected employee. Do I need two dataset for this?
I currently have this working already for one of my combo box's, but when i try to use the same code i get this error ''There is no row at position 6.'' . The are 2 fields in the table asset_type_id, asset_type_name', im trying to dispaly the values in a combo box for the field 'asset_type_name.

The remarked area works fine when I'm accessing a specific table. I've successfully inserted the products_model field into the combobox too. The datagridview does show the table names in the db using the SHOW TABLES sql statment, but I'm not understanding how to get this info into the combobox instead.
I have a simple ASPX page with a listbox and a button. Listbox has about 8-10 items in it. After the user selects an item (listbox is multi-select) and clicks the button, I'm iterating through the items to get the selected one like so:

When I step through the code, I select the first item from the listbox. I setup a watch on the 'Item' variable. The code will iterate through each of the items -- but Item.Selected always reads 'False'.I double-check the page, and sure enough my item is selected on the form.What the heck is going on?
