Apr 6, 2012I want to add a counter for my program that basically counts the times I answered correctly and incorrectly. When a user adds or subtracts correctly the correct label shows 1 and when a user correctly answers again the correct label should show 2. It just adds and adds until the program is running. Same goes for the incorrect label.

Jan 26, 2011I started to create the MathQuiz and it is working good as per the provide codes. I was also able to add 'Percentage Correct Answers' and some other details.I have added a new form with some buttons and that is working as well, just simple stuff and all good fun playing with it.
But here is my challenge:When 1 or more answers are incorrect the program is opening a new form (similar to the main form) and it shows the equations again. I did that with "Correcting.lblLADD.Text = addend1", etc. in then main form. In the form 'Correcting' = Form3.Designer.vb I have tried to get the Text into a Number but nothing works for me. Also Tried to make addend1 in Form1 Public but the value does not appear in Form3. Form3 has also a Private addend1 as Integer.Even if I give addend1 in Form3 a value Form3 does not calculate.Maybe it does but I can get it to work. I have tried to get a MessageBox to show up when the answer in Form3 is correct but the MessageBox does not work either.

However, even if entry is correct, the error msgbox will appear (x times of how many records there are in file), despite being navigated to the menu. Anyway that the Else isn't triggered when data is correct. Also for it to appear just one instead of (x times of how many records there are in file.)
Show Up Details Of Employee On Selecting Row In DGV?
Jul 8, 2009I have a form with a datagridview that show a list of employees. Right next to the datagridview, I have a small set of textbox containing employee information (name, phone, etc) which is my "details section". I have a tableadapter that populate the datagridview, this is working well. Now, what I want is to when I select a row in the datagridview, the details of the employee shows up in the details section.
I tried to bind textboxes to the correct column. It works, but if I specify the datatable a query that will get this employee info, the data of the datagridview change to be the only row in it. I want the list to be showing all results and then the details secion giving only information on the selected employee. Do I need two dataset for this?
Unable To Show Correct Log Id Number?
Feb 15, 2011I have a form (FRMQUESTIONNAIRE). It contains, a listview table, a panel and picturebox, 2 combobox, 10 questions with 5 radio buttons each question ( A survey),A log number id (I just used Label in here) and 2 buttons ( save and skip).
Problem: When I click one item in listview table, the picture captured realted to the item click in listview table will be shown in panel beside it. However, the problem start to happen when the log ID is not appear accordingly based on user selection on listview table.
What I reckon start of the problem: - Previously The listview table(listview1) in frmquestionnaire was in frmqlist(another form). But to suit user requirement, it has to combined with frmquestionnaire. In frmqlist, I use a label Image. This form contains the similar details in frmquestionanire except there are no 2 combobox, 10 questions with 5 radio buttons each question ( A survey),A log number id (I just used Label in here) and 2 buttons ( save and skip) But it have a button(Proceed to survey). Having said that, when user click an item in listview(Frmqlist), the picture will be shown beside it. User will click button proceed to survey and frmquestionnaire will pop up. Here, It shows the correct Log ID based on user selection in frmqlist.
But now....
I have combine everything in frmquestionnaire. I am facing as the LOG ID is not showing according to the selection. As a result, I can't save the questionnaire answer as well as this log will be used to save in database.

DB/Reporting :: Adding New Record On Form Load - Show Correct Row ID
May 5, 2008In an attempt to learn VB I'm trying to build a database project for a friend's business. This db will be used to track customer information, predominantly for targeted marketing purposes. So far, the development has been slow (I'm still trying to adapt from VBA to VB), but its all starting to make sense now. I'm using two different forms for adding new customers and reviewing the information of existing customers, mainly because the database will grow by about 2,500 customers per year and we wanted to be able to search the records without returning every record when the forms load. Most of this works so far, but I'm having trouble with two issues.
When I open the new customer entry form, I want the form to automatically begin entering data without clicking the "Add New" button. The second problem involves the row ID from the database. It keep showing up as "-1", "-2" etc. The row ID records properly in the table, so no big deal. I have read that this problem is a bug in VB and that its nothing to worry about. However, down the road I will need to access the correct row ID from this same form in order to print out a report for the customer (as needed).

VS 2008 Get Green Label Box To Show Correct Coordinate After Box Is Scaled
Sep 2, 2011I am trying to get the green label box to show the correct coordinate after the box is scaled. The red box always shows the true coordinate of the mouse in the picturebox. So for example - after you click on [Scale x4], the 32x32 picturebox will be 128x128. The red box will now show from 0-127 x and y. I would like the green box to show 0-3 x and 0-3 y.
