I'm testing with 2 buttons on form, at the form level i have set: Dim btnIsClicked As Boolean = False if a button is clicked in the click event i then set the boolean to true, but is there a way i can check in another event whether the values has been set to true?

This is my problem.I have a field set up in MS Access to Boolean YES/NO, this field is populated when the user check a checkbox on a windows form. If the user check a checkbox, the value is written as checked in the data field (MS Access).The problem is when I search for the user information, I need the information from the Data base to populate(return) to the windows form. Example: If I enter a users phone number and the user data is present, the form gets populated with the information the user previously entered which was store in the database.Example: If the user selected checkbox1 and submits the form. When I search for the user info, the check box should check(populate) because the user had checked it on submit.Here is what I have done:

Nice simple one (I Hope) to start of the day. I have got a load of calculations going on and then a set of rules being checked after the calculations. I then have 9 booleans which check against the varibles. Basically I would like an easy way to check how many Booleans are False and how many are True.

I am working for application register form and I would like to know when the user opens the register form I need to check if the current date is true or not and when the user tries to change the system date he should pop up message.So I would like to refresh the form for every second and find whether he has changed the date or not. How do I do that?

I'm using custom events activation/desactivation in one of my class. Let's say :
AddHandler trv_treeview.BeforeExpand, AddressOf sub_LoadNextLevel
and
RemoveHandler trv_treeview.BeforeExpand, AddressOf sub_LoadNextLevel
In another part of the code, I now need to know "Is there an event attached or not". In my search I found that Vb hold an hidden private variable <Eventname>Event. I've tried trv_treeview.BeforeExpandEvent but with no success. How is it possible, in Vb, to check how many Events are already attached to a method?
I am using datagrid to display & edit the value by end user. If the user is edit the any row, status column set as true (newly added column to get the edited rows) its working. But now I dont know how to get the values from datagrid by status = "True".

Then, when the user presses an up arrow on the keyboard, the cursor will change to a custom cursor (a cursor with an image of car {in .ico format} for example), when the user releases the up arrow key, the cursor turns back to default cursor -- which is arrow. When the user presses an up arrow and left arrow at the same time on the keyboard, then a different custom cursor will be shown instead of the default.

There is no fixed period to the events .If no one comes through the door, no event is generated, but often multiple people can go through at once, so the value can be greater than one.
Sometimes events are minutes apart for a time, sometimes there is gaps of a few hours,

I have code running in the Datatable.ColumnChanging event in my dataset. This dataset underlies a form and conventional drag/drop controls are in place for data entry.when the event triggers and runs, I am running code in the form that checks the dataset.HasChanges property. It is showing False. But this is immediately after the ColumnChanging event has been triggered.Okay, I see by others posts and MSDN that .HasChanges will only be true after moving off the row with the changed column. I have also noted lots of discussion about the advanced binding property of DataSourceUpdate Mode, but that does not address this issue.I guess I can do this by checking the state of the row for the binding source. Just seems odd that the event behind the dataset can be triggered and that does not change the dataset.HasChanges property.

I have one problem. I have small form. on this form i have picure box, larger then form and autoscroll property of form set to true. On picture box i have some panels, which are unvisible by default.
Then i start program. I move down with scroll and on some event i change panel property visible = true. And here i problem. Panel position is not on the same location on picture.
And i tried with changing AutoScrollPosition, it works, but this is not solution.
As to whether the value of a textbox is between 1 and 7 I check the property to true in a checkbox?I try to do so does not work.

I have to write some code for my app that if the application crashes or my machine crashes or for whatever reason the application closes abnormally and the user was in the process of making changes, I need to write some code that will at least ask the user if they wish to save their changes to the database.
With that said, what I have done thus far is set a flag in specific "TextChanged" events of certain controls. When the above scenario happens, I check this flag in the "FormClosing" event. In testing this, I selected a record from a DataViewGrid which then populated certain controls where this flag is set. I realize that at that point the "TextChanged" event is fired because the fields receive a value and that boolean flag is set to "True".
My issue is that this flag gets set even though the controls get populated but no physical data changes have been made. So, what I'm wondering is whether or not their is another event I can check other than the "TextChanged" event that will truly detect if any new changes have been made and at that point set the boolean flag to "True".
I want to have a text file perhaps a ini file where I want to set a value to either True or False so a boolean. How can I do something like this. I want it to be a in text file so I can change. If it's in settings I'll need to change each users settings I want each user's application to read this text file.

so i have this code which is trying to allow the user click the label (of which there are 26) and then decide whether the letter in the label matches the letter that has been generated in the radio button. I KNOW there is a more simplified to do this and much less code to write but i cant work it out. this is an image of what im trying to achieve but instead of buttons change those to radio buttons x 3.
