How can i send a table values into DataGridView? I am using Access Database.And one more thing i want to know that.Before sending values into Datagridview i need to work 2 or 3 tables and that result should be keep one Temp Table , that TempTable i want send to DataGridView.Here 2 or 3 tables work means i want to applay leftjoin between two tables and coming result should be keep one temptable and again i want to right join with temptable to other table.This Concept i recently worked on VB, now i want to do work on VB.NET.Is there any way to handel this task? Any i how i am sending Code which i implemented same concept in VB.[code]Here in VB code i used Functions, i called Functions in the FORM and i declared the Functions in the Module. By using Funtions and Recordset i did job. But how can i handle in VB.NET?

I've set up a datasource that binds each table in my access database to the appropriate datagridview... how would I go about submitting changes in the datagridview to the database itself?
ALSO: I would like to have buttons on the form that submit SQL statements to the database and update it. For example, something simple like...when I click the button, it takes the values in the text boxes and forms an SQL statement to create a new record in the appropriate table.... How would I go about submitting SQL via a button?

I am using MS Access 2003 and vb.net to develop a windows application of inventory management.
I have used datagridview in the form and using FillBytoolstrip option, can filter data using type.
But i have no idea as to how can i update the database to reflect the latest changes in the gridview.

I'm trying to migrate (mostly mentally at this point) from MS Access to .NET for database programming. I've found one of the first tests to be fairly painful. I have created in Visual Basic .net a new DataGridView in my form. I have used the wizard to show some fields of a table in my access database.I would like to add a refresh button and force the datagrid to load the data again from the database, but I'm not sure how to do that. I have made DataGridView in the designers and connected an Access database to the datagridvies and the Column headers appear as they should and when I check in preview mode all the fields are correctly populated. However, the DataGrid is not populated in normal mode at all. I have been trying to run the project but nothing is happening. What can I do to populate the field.

I have a MS Access database file that I can view with a DataGridView, but I can not save the changes made. User should be able to modify data, and when pressing the "Save" button, these changes should be reflected on the database. That is not happening.I know this is a common question, but I have read dozens of pages trying yo get this to work.

I have a database that dynamically loads from Access into a datagridview. I have to enter data manually into one column in this datagridview. I need to be able to perform calculations to this data, for example I need to sum the data in this column, sqaure it and substract it from individual sqaures of the data in the cells. I should be able to sum it sum(22,33,44,53,67,23)^2-sum(22^2,33^2,...23^2). The number of columns keep changing depending on the database I choose to load, so I need to code this dynamically too. I am not really a VB person. I did the same in excel using Visual Basic and I am trying to do it in this Visual Basic environment.I built a tool in excel(VBA) that do some statistical calculations and data analysis and I am trying to build the same in Visual Basic.

currently i had a program which working fine when its running in the solution explorer,but after published,problem comes.my datagridview cant show updated data while my database access already update...my datagridview only show existed data.could it be my datagrid problem?i get my data programmatically or is my INSERT command doesn't update the dataset?but in the solution explorer does show the dataset was updated. third one i want to save and load(with dialogs) my database from main form to child forms' datagridview.and the last one is help provider. i prepare my own .htm help file, when press F1 it opens. but i dont know how to call provider to toolstripmenuitem and help provider keep my computer's path so when i call provider another computer, the programme cant find the path.
