Access Objects I've Assigned To Repeater.DataSource?

I have a Repeater Control which I bind to a list of Products
Repeater.DataSource = ProductRepository.GetProducts();
Later (in another module), I need to retrieve the products from the Repeater, but it seems not to work with Repeater.Item.DataItem (which is then null).
My question is, is there any reference to the products in the Repeater-Items? Or do I have to set it myself via id field etc. What would be the easiest way to get the "underlying" product objects?

I know how to use <%#Container.DataItem%> to dump everything but I need to get at the items in the array individually, not have them all ditched out to the page in one go. For example, item 1 contains a link, item 2 contains an image path, item 3 contains a description. I need to have them kick out in the correct order to build the link and icon correctly.

In the code behind I have a function that returns a List(Of SomeClass):
rptRepeater.DataSource = SomeFunction(SomeVariable)
rptRepeater.DataBind()
In the html I have a basic repeater layout and am using the below code to get the Properties of each object returned.
<%#Databinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Parameter1")%>
My question is, would there ever be a case that it would execute the Function more than once?

I have an RDLC report that I am rendering directly to the Response Stream as PDF (rather than using the ReportViewer). In the code that renders the report, it's DataSource is bound to a List(Of ClassA) objects defined in a custom assembly. This seems to work for the most part. My problem is that I can't seem to handle the situation where a nested object is null. For example, given ClassA and ClassB (the nested object) defined as follows:
Public Class ClassA
Public Id As Integer
Public Name As String

the report displays "#Error" if TheNestedObject is null. If TheNestedObject is not null, it correctly displays the Name.

I'm using a repeater ListOfArticles and have controls inside it like ddlSizes and btnSelectArticle. Normally you can just double click the control and in the aspx.vb page you can specify an action. I have heard something about Findcontrol, but can't figure out or find much information that I understand. I don't want to sound like an ass, but I would really prefer help for the aspx.vb page and not in C# or Javascript.
An example of what I'm trying to do is, once you've clicked btnSelectArticle the label lblSelection receives the following values Amount: txtAmount - Size: ddlSizes.SelectedValue.

I am using a repeater to build a custom table. However, I can't figure out how to make the table show subtotal if the next rows tour does not match the previous rows.
Something similar to that.
row1 tour1
row2 tour 1
tour1 subtotal

but this shows all the data in the nested repeater not the ones that match the parentrepeater fields for example tour,theme,dep7 should match in the child repeater

I have a parent repeater with nested repeaters.My problem is I am trying to use 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons to rebind my repeater (rptTabContent) and thus the inner repeaters also, but when I try to manipulate the state of these links during the ItemCommand event they are overwritten by the bind.

A program that I'm designing for a local jewelry shop to print receipts and what not, there are multiple cashiers. I have written a database in Access with the Cashier ID, First Name, Last Name, PasswordI have added this to my dataset, it shows up as CashierDataSet1. What I need to do is verify the Cashier ID, and the Password match TextBox1, and 2. All the tutorials I have found are for accessing that database on the local hard drive, which would be fine if I could get rid of my UnauthorizedAccessException error. Any ideas or well known tutorials for using a database in a dataset without pulling the text boxes onto the form and creating that navigator ?

The problem I now face is that the 'index' value of the combobox item for each row is in the field specFieldType which is populated into the datagrid.I need to be able to set the value of the ComboBox for each row when the form is opened, and also be able to save the index value of each row selection if any changes are made/saved.

I have an application which is grouped in a MainApplication and serveral Modules (DLL's) The Main Application is basicly a Form with a NavigationBar on the Left Side (like in Outlook 2003) and an MDI-Parent. There is also a Simple Login Routine on this Form. I store the UserName after Loggingn to a Property. The DLL's holds functionallity and Forms for various Sections for example there is a Employee.dll which holds functions and a form to show all Employees.
On Loading of the Main Application I loop trough all dll's in a "Module"-Folder and extract NavigationItems from them which I add to the MainForms NavigationPanel. I don't have a reference to the Modules because I want to make it as flexible as possible so that it is possible to delete a Dll form the Module directory in order to remove the functionality from the MainApplication. The Modules could work also without the MainApplication if they are Complied as an exe insted of DLL of course. This works fine so far.

Some of the things I would like to do from vb is create folders in my sharepoint site, have access to files that are on my sharepoint site. Ok so my issue is I have three repeaters. Within that repeater I have another repeater and a third one in the second. There is more in between but that's not relevant. Below the HTML is my VB code. I opened vs 2008 and used the server explorer for the first time to create a connection to my SQL 2005 db. The solution explorer pulled in all the tables, the database diagram etc. My question is how do I access that database connection and work with it using ADO objects? Do I need a reference to ADO?
