After my FormView (frmOneProgram) is databound I can use the VB statement below to assign a value to a <td> label named IDNOLabelEdit. The same statement does not work for a ListView. How can I assign a value to a ListView <td> label?

Instead they should be dynamic as the values used will be either the value of a specific Environment variable or from a value stored in an array. These values will change depending on which user runs the application. How do I achieve this?

When the user selects a row in the listview, I would like to have the Firstname and Lastname for the selection chosen to be output to a label. I know how to select a single item from the listview and output it as text. How do I output two items from the listview to a single label? Firstname listview item is: EmployeeListViewSelectedItem(0).SubItems(1) and Lastname is SubItem(2)
View 3 RepliesMy goal is to display a list of tasks with checkboxes. Checking the checkbox for a task will update the display of the task so a line-through text decoration will appear. Everythign is working great, except I can't figure out how to initially show the list of tasks with a line-through if they are completed, or normal if the task is not completed. Here's code excerpts:

So this works great, when I click on a checkbox the lable gets a line-through or none based on the checkbox. Only problem is when I initially load the page, I can't figure out how to update the style of TaskLabel to show a line-through or not. I've tried some various routes, but nothing is panning out.
We could possibly export the contents of the listview control that we can select in the visual basic 2008 application. I tried to set its properties to 'true' on FullRowSelect, HoverSelection and the MultiSelect. I want to copy and paste the content of the listvew control when being highlighted. It highlights all the items inside the listview control and when you use the command ctrl+c for copy and paste it in another application like MS Excel, it only paste one item which is the first item in the row and the rest were not. However, in the datagridview, it ables to paste all the contents inside of the control but the listview control can't. Why is it so? do i need to add codes on it or it is just the Windows OS is not capable of doing it? How do I copy the selected items from the listview control and paste it into another application? Same as the label control which I want to highlight or select the text of the label in order for me to paste into the other application but unable to do so. These are the two controls that I'm trying to find out on how to export their contents to another windows application.

Admin assigns the authority and get a new form to the new assign in with vb.net & access. I am not sure about this,I need a way to do the new form assigned? How?Actually, this project is the admin will assign the authority to a manager, and the manager will get the password to log in. I finally finished all my labels and textbox codes for this button.But now I have to code it so that I will be able to click the button and it will calculate all the wrong and correct answers in the labels and then finally place the percentage score in the uiScorePercentagelabel. What I dont understand is how to calculate all the different labels as one and then show the percentage right in the appropriate label.
I have been using vb6 for a while, I am following a tutorial by MS to develop a basic application and a simple task cannot be completed for whatever reasons! The tutorial asks to drag the label object from the toolbox and drop in the tab control container. Then, go to the label size property and adjust the size to some different dimansion. Basic stuff, right? It won't let me do it! After I enter the new dimensions (which by the way are not large or very small), the label size (both width and height) resets back to its original dimensions! I have the vb.net sp1 installed.

I figured out the width of the label and if the width of the text inside the label is longer. But I have no idea how to turn this into subtracting parts/pixels of the text currently displayed and how to append the subtracted parts to the end of the new text.
