Changing Flags - Edit Line Within INI File

I am trying to speed up the process of changing flags within an INI file used for a program. Ideally i want a simple form with ON/OFF radio buttons which are specific to different options within the ini file. For example, if i wanted to turn Printing off in the ini file, i could select OFF for which this will edit the ini file and change the setting "Printer=0"

I want to edit a certain line in a .ini file like this, the line is MSAA=0..I want to change the value of that number but first I need to find out how to get there. I really need help with this. Ok so i have a uni assignment to delete lines of text out of a text file, so far i have figured out how to search the text file for specific bits of text, i,e name of user, ive also used a loop to find out what line in the text file the specific line exists as...my

the selected policy is what im tryin to use to write over the line of texts that already exists however i think that maybe instead of deleteting what exists it will just move it down a line and make a blank line

I have created several simply custom controls and I used them in my app. Now, I changed the background color in a custom control class, because I wanted an other color for this type of control. But in my app, the background of this controls didn't change. Why? I assume, I don't need to place again this controls on each forms to get the new background color, or do I? If yes, this is very stupid in my opinion.

I have RTB witch I can edit with text by using .

Great but I loose any editing to colour/font I may of done previously. Is there a way of just adding a new line. I am thinking along the lines of finding the last character then adding my new line.

I have a program that reads a text file tab delimted using OLEDb I need to be able to allow the user to insert a user created record into the file which I can do. The problem is I need to be able to let the user edit that record. From my understanding you can not edit or delete with OLEDB only insert So I thought I would read the file using stream reader, find the line I want to edit and just delete it, rewrite the file, then let the user insert a new record?

I am loading a listbox with lines from a txt file. Now I would like to be able to edit values within that listbox by going there with the mouse cursor and type a new value..
E.g. the listbox displays:
7226218; Hemlock; 22.55; 4
0822722; Pine, Sugar; 11.55; 7
After editing it looks like:
7226218; Hemlock; 22.55; 2
0822722; Pine, Sugar; 11.55; 7
After pressing an "accept button" those values should then be written back to the txt file.

what i need to do is open a txt file, read line by line, decode each line into an array and display. Now all works ok apart from one line.

I'm trying to implement a boolean flag into a button so that when the button is clicked the flag will equal to true. After that i need to run an if statement stating that if the button is clicked then move/relocate the button to the corner of the screen. I tried setting my flag as true and using an IF statement but it didnt work. i get a syntax error stating "Operator '=' is not defined for types 'System.Windows.Forms.Button' and 'Boolean'

I'm reading a text file with StreamReader, line by line. If a condition is met, then I do an operation and then start reading the file again from the first line. I realize I could close and then re-open the file, but surely this would be very slow.
I could do this easily in VB6, but pulling my hair out trying to do this in vB.net. It seems that 'Seek' is the function to use, but it doesn't work.
I've seen other examples, where it works, but you must open it a different way -- with a file number.

So I'm developing a minesweeper flags game and the multiplayer version is all set up, but the single player version is still under developement. It's important to refer that I'm using a DataGridView, and I'm applying r = tab1.CurrentCell.RowIndex + 1 and c = tab1.CurrentCell.ColumnIndex + 1 to see where the player clicks. What I want to do is to make the AI click any random cell when it's turn comes, but how do I do this.

if I have several of these movable PictureBoxes added to a Form (Form1) and want to display a selection rectangle only on that PictureBox, that is just selected,then I think I should use a flag to mark whether a PictureBox is selected or not. The flag could be used in paint event to decide,whether the selection rectangle is to be drawn or no .To add a flag property to the new class is no problem. But how can I set the flags in all other existing instances of the class, when it is set to True in the selected PictureBox?
