is there is any direct method or function in array class that can check if any given byte array is a subarray of other array?or should i loop through the each byte of main array to see if smaller array exists in that or not?

I have a CheckBoxList where one of the options includes a textbox to fill in your own value. I have a checkedlistbox with numbers in it and I'm trying to load a list of numbers from a database and check all of them (they should all be in the checkedlistbox).
I was trying to do this by loading all the values into a separate listbox using my own subroutine (I know that part works) and then finding the corresponding item on the checkedlistbox, like this:

I have a listview with checkboxes for each items in the listview. You can see in the listview1_itemcheck event that when I tick and untick for each checkboxes in the listview, it will add the subitems text in the label. I want to take this invoice and every time I check the item it removes one of those from another list i created called item details. I added items to this list using the item collection in the listbox.. I have invoice one that has a pink sock ordered. when i clicked this box next to it I want my total pink socks of 12 to move down to 11... the detail page and the invoice are two separate pages.

It doesn't show the message box even when the character actually does exist. I believe the problem is that I never do add the item really. I just use, "Return Me.character," which is assigned the value of Textbox3. So I just need to figure out how to check Me.character before returning it.
I've never really used the Check List Box in the past, however, for the recent program I am developing, I am using this control rather than individual check boxes scattered across the form.Anyway, I want to be able to program through code which items get checked in this checked list box. I am stuck with the following code (below). Basically, I have two data sources; a flat text file and a dataset. I am trying to put the primary key from the flat file into a simple variable, and the PK from the dataset into an array. I then use a 'for each' statement to compare the PK from the text file to the PK in the array (from the dataset). If they match, the "isValid" variable is supposed to equal 'false'.
Unfortunately, this is not working. the isValid is always true, which I know is not the case, and then I get a SQL error warning of primary key violation. I'm a bit tired, and not seeing it. Here's the code;

I have an array for all 26 chars of the alphabet as a boolean. What I want to end up doing is have the program take the user's guess char and set the corresponding number in the array to true. I'm new to arrays and I have no clue how to begin doing this. this is how I am declaring my array. I am declaring the array as a char for now because I don't know how to go about using a boolean array for my game, but it seems like it would be the best way to do it. [Code]

[code] The code seems to work great until I come to the else statement.When the code finds a match it displays the picture box and the msgbox without error, but as soon as the message box is cleared, even though i've input it as an ELSE statement, the picturebox goes false again.Does anyone have any idea of how I can "hold" the picturebox to stay visible while the match between the arrays exists?

I have a listview with two columns of data in it. I want to capture all the items in the listview into an array. The array will have two dimensions, one for column 1 and the other dimension for column 2. I am a little lost on how to iterate over the listview items. I figure it would be a for each statement. Its also the actual call that passes the found item and sub item to the array I am struggling with.

So I need to generate a random number between 0 and the source array's getupperbound property. I think. Is there a more suitable way to pluck an item from an array. I wonder if there's a way to ensure that you don't choose the same item more than once. I suppose I could randomly sort the source array and choose the first 140 items, that would ensure I don't get a repeat item. But could be inefficient if the source array is much larger than the destination array, because I'd be shuffling more values than I need to shuffle. I suppose it's a sampling problem.
