Checking Multiple Items In A Check List Box By Variable Values?

I've never really used the Check List Box in the past, however, for the recent program I am developing, I am using this control rather than individual check boxes scattered across the form.Anyway, I want to be able to program through code which items get checked in this checked list box. Specifically, I have a variable that contains the text of each check box that I want checked.With a normal check box, I can simply say:

If strNames.ToString.Contains("Mike Brown") Then[code]....
How can I get all the selected values from a check list box? I tried using the name of the check list box (clbLike) but it only returns the first value checked. How can I return all values checked?
I have declared a class in VB.NET using VS2K5 with some shared variables and made that class a dllI made use of that dll in another project and tried to make use of those variables. Even though I can able to make use of them, Im unable to view the values of those variables like the values of normal variables when Im debugging. Is there any way that I can watch the values of those shared variables during debugging.
I have a checkedlistbox with numbers in it and I'm trying to load a list of numbers from a database and check all of them (they should all be in the checkedlistbox).
I was trying to do this by loading all the values into a separate listbox using my own subroutine (I know that part works) and then finding the corresponding item on the checkedlistbox, like this:

I have an invoice that lists several items that one person has ordered. I want to take this invoice and every time I check the item it removes one of those from another list i created called item details. I added items to this list using the item collection in the listbox.. I have a List(Of DateTime) items. How can I check if all the items are the same with a LINQ query? there could be 1, 2, 20, 50 or 100 items in the list.
I have a list with a boolean value as one of the properties. I need to check if every one of these is true. Now normally LINQ would give a nice clean answer here, but as I am using .NET 2.0 I can't use that.If there a nicer way to do this or am I going to have to do a for each loop and break out on finding a false?
Edit:Seems I could have been a bit clearer. I have an object in a list (eg List (Of MyObject)). There is a boolean property on this object called Processed.I need to check that all objects in the list are processed.So in LINQ I'd do:if (from o in list where o.processed = false select o).count = 0 then....

I am developing a VB web app in VS2005, and I can't figure how to do somehting. Can anyone suggest a way to gather up (non - postbacked) checked items (checkboxlist) on a web form (and of course write them to a file), and then start the report using a new window? If you suggest using htmlwindow.opennew, then I need to know what the constructor looks like for that. Can I get btnReport.click in my aspx.vb code to execute before it is sent to the report form by the "OnClientClick" asp command?
i have a check list box. i want the user to limit, selecting maximum of three items from the checklistbox. if user select more than that i want a msgbox to prompt.
I want the program to check the number of items in a list box, then send use that number to form a FOR loop and send each to the serial port individually. It actually sends everything, but the program always crashes after the last one saying that the sdprintcount variable is an invalid number for the index. I don't get it as this happens no matter how many items are in the list, and it always crashes on the last one. It sends it, but then it says the index number is invalid.

I have a question about comparing values inside of a List. I have a single list of strings. Inside the list are multiple values. The values are arranged so they can be dumped into a spreadsheet.
Example: Private ListOfStrings As New List(Of String) ValueA(0), ValueB(1), ValueC(2) 'These three values are the same as the three values in the 4th "row" below ValueD(3), ValueE(4), ValueF(5) ValueG(6), ValueH(7), ValueI(8)
ValueA(9), ValueB(10), ValueC(11) 'These three values are the same as the three values in the 1st "row" above. Since this is a duplicate, I need to add a "count" of value 2 and then delete the values of this row from the List. Etc...
Each line above represents a "row" in a spreadsheet. All three values in each "row" have the potential to be the same. So, I need a way to A) Compare and count all of the common "rows" (using only the first value from each row) and B) If common "rows" occur, I need to delete all but one row from the List. ListOfStrings.Remove ?
I have 4 checkboxes available, what I want is the user to be able to select as many of the four checkboxes.Each of the four checkboxes have a value, but when i set the code it only selects the first checkbox and only adds the first checkbox i select to the totals, rather then all selected checkboxes.The values have been set in the module and all the values appear correctly, they are just not adding all together when i select more than one checkboxHere is what I have in the calculate button.

On my form I have 3 textboxes. They get their data from a database query. The trick is the database may return 1 result or up to 3. If the query returns only 1 result, I want the first textbox populated, 2 results, 1st and 2nd textbox populated, etc... I also want to be able to track CurrentItemChanged Event for updating purposes. My initial thought was to use a list object as the binding source but how would I cycle through the list if it returns more than one so that I can assign the values to the 2nd and 3rd textboxes or if data is entered in to a blank textbox I want the currentitemchanged

Using Visual Basic in Visual Studio 2008, I have created a Windows form with multiple tabs and questions. Each question has an associated drop-down listbox that the user will eventually click on to enter his or her response. My client has now informed me that she wants to change the standard responses in each response box. There are well over 100 drop-down listboxes, all with the same items, and they all must be changed.
I originally inputted the items using design view. Would someone please tell me if it's possible to edit all of these boxes in the design view simultaneously? When I control + click on more than one box, the Edit Items option that is normally available disappears. Is there a way to do it in code in a manner that would save back into design view?
I am trying to assign integer values to the items in 2 different list boxes called lstWorkshop and lstLocation. I then want the equation, intCost = intDays * intLodgingFee + intRegistrationFee, to be executed and the result to be displayed in a third listbox named lstCost.
