i have 2 listboxes beside eachother and one listbox shows all the songs in the wmp control playlist, the other listbox always has the same topindex, im trying to show in that listbox with a pointer ('>') which song is currently playing in the media control but i need to know what the song number is in order to do that. there has to be some order, right? that increases when you go to the next song and decreases when u go to the previous?so far i have:

I have an array for all 26 chars of the alphabet as a boolean. What I want to end up doing is have the program take the user's guess char and set the corresponding number in the array to true. I'm new to arrays and I have no clue how to begin doing this. this is how I am declaring my array. So I'm writing the equality operator overload (Operator =())for a custom object, and the resulting mess of If conditionals is just an eyesore. But so far, it seems like the only sane way to check the values to as to match the specific behavior of this object.
The rules are:Num1 is required, period, and both the left and right operands and must be equal for True. Else, False.Num2 is optional, but if specified, must be present for both the left and right operands, and must be equal for True. Else, False.Num3 is optional, but can only be specified if Num2 is also present. Else, False.Num3, if specified, must be present for both the left and right operands, and must be equal for True. I also know that I could cache elements of the checks into booleans and then use those to reduce the amount of text. But that seems like a waste of cycles just for code readability. So I wanted to know if the SO community had better thoughts on reorganizing it, just in case I'm being too verbose with my checks.

It changes the index of the listbox, but it doesn't play the new file. The file exist and there's no problem playing it the normal way.

I have created the player such that it when ever the user cicks on the selection on listbox the player play the corresponding song. so the user has to click on the next song to play the next song once the previous song is finished.Now I would like to know is it possible for the player to automatically play the next song once the previous song is finished? I have created a SWAP function that does the swapping if the index value is greater than the index+1 value, with a loop that will iterate through the array (assuming that you dont have to specify how many iterations are required) until the array is sorted.
is there is any direct method or function in array class that can check if any given byte array is a subarray of other array?or should i loop through the each byte of main array to see if smaller array exists in that or not?

How do I check wheter nmbToCheck is between nmb1 and nmb2? I know I could use < and >, but the problem is that I won't be knowing which of the numbers will be smaller, and which will be larger, and it seems like a lot of code to write for such a small issue. There must be some sort of nmbToCheck.IsBetween(nmb1, nmb2) type solution to this, right?

So I have it go through the second statements to randomize the object again if it's the same, but after it randomizes, I kind of need it to go back to the top to see if the number is even again.

I am stuck with the following code (below). Basically, I have two data sources; a flat text file and a dataset. I am trying to put the primary key from the flat file into a simple variable, and the PK from the dataset into an array. I then use a 'for each' statement to compare the PK from the text file to the PK in the array (from the dataset). If they match, the "isValid" variable is supposed to equal 'false'.
Unfortunately, this is not working. the isValid is always true, which I know is not the case, and then I get a SQL error warning of primary key violation. I'm a bit tired, and not seeing it. Here's the code;
