Clicking On Any Day Clears Selection

Clicking on any day clears the selections. This bug is repoducable by simply opening a new WindowsForms project, dropping a MonthCalendar control onto its' surface. Click on the TitleBackground, click on a month, Jan thru Dec, and the bug will become self-evident. There may be another bug, if you click on either the Next or Previous month buttons, the selections will shift to the first week of the month. Finally, the Today key at the bottom of the calendar doesn't fully highlight. I am currently using Windows Vista, I will try to repo this on XP as soon as I can.

I'm trying to finish up Visual Basic project for a class to create a playlist of files and to have them played.I have everything working if I single click the item from my list, and then click the play button in the WMP control portion of my form.I then want to add the functionality of double clicking the selection in the list and play with the following code:

and nothing seems to happen.Digging into values of the debugger at the time I try to play the file:

The sourceURL of the first item in the playlist is correct, but the duration is 0:00 (it should be 0:01). Since it seems there is no duration detected, nothing is played. Any idea what I missed? Again, if I single click the file, which sets the playlist as I want, then click PLAY on the GUI controls, it works fine.Also, is there any way for the program to detect when the song has changed when playing a playlist of multiple songs? I want to have label fields showing "Now Playing" information that would change info as the songs change, and maybe even change the item selected as things are played. I've not yet found a way to detect this change, only when the player starts and stops in general.

I am trying to write codes to clears all items in the list box. I try doing this with these codes:

But I keep getting error: InvalidArgument=Value of '1' is not valid for 'index'.

How can I refresh my form? I have a button that clears all data from a text file, and the text file is displayed in a secondary tab on my form. When the user views the second tab, they have the option to press the clear button, but I would like the form to refresh so they can see that the data has been cleared. How can I do this?

The following code works (rows are filtered by the select expression), but then all the controls in the datarepeater are empty. When set to .DefaultView all records return and all controls have their values.

is there a way of making a random number generator, which would clear out 2 random boxes out of 3 even though there are 4?
lets say there are 4 answers one in each textbox. if textbox1 is correct, can i make random number to be between 2 -4 and clear randomly either textbox 2 and 3 or textbox 2 and 4 or textbox 3 and 4 and same for other text-boxes if they are correct?
i thought about making two random numbers picked randomly then use alot of if statements, but did not realize i am getting into something ridiculously long. I think there must be easier way than that.

I am using ASP.net(2.0) with VB.NET.
I have a User registration form. On that form the user supply all his contact details and he can upload a image with the normal file upload control in ASP.net.
This is my problem. If anything goes wrong on the page then i give the User a error message saying what he left out or what went wrong. But the page refresh when that does happen. NOW the link to the image the user selected is gone. NOW when the user fix his error he thinks that he is uploading a picture but he never did because when the page re loaded it removed the link to his image inside the file upload control.
Note, the user don't have to upload a image, so there will be no error when the field is blank.

I've got a VB .NET application that has an auto-updater that updates the exe and manifest files of the application when it finds a new version. For some reason when I update those 2 files, it also clears the user settings, even though Im not replacing the exe.config file.

I have a richtextbox with multiple colored text in it. When I change the font, the color table is removed and everything changes to the default fore color. Anyone know of a why to preserve the color table and formatting when changing the font? I know I could build the RTF manually, but I really want to avoid that if possible.

Is there any way to create a button which basically clears a entire table in your database?
I was hoping to have 2 buttons, 1 to empty a table 1 to fill the same table again.The idea is to store a year long values, and at the end of the year delete all of those with a button.The other button i want to use to fill the same table again.Starting from 1st day of the year untill the last day of the year.

I use a text file to store the settings from my program.Now when i save the settings the text file gets created and everything works correctly. I can load the settings without any error.Now when i quit my program and star it up again clicking the load button will clear out any data in my text file. So the file still exist but it empty.It happens when my program runs this line of code.
Dim o_read As system.IO.streamReader = system.IO.File.OpenText("C: est.txt")
That just tells o_read that it is a stream reader and which file to read.How does my file get cleared out by that?

When the user clicks the Exit button it closes the forms and if there was an open file it asks the user is they would like to save. But after the application closes there is still memory being held in Processes by the application. However, when pressing the [X] in the top of the form the application closes again but in this instance it is not held in Processes. How do I write the close for Exit to take into account how the [X] works and close the application cleanly?

Someone asked me to add a function when the notifyicon is doublcliked. I figured that'd be easy with the mousedoubleclick event being available. I am getting very frustrated with how this was set up. When you are trying to navigate and move things on your form and accidentally double-click, it adds a sub procedure On-Click to the form, then you have to waste time and delete that segment and get back to your workspace.Does anyone know is there an option in the UI options somewhere to change this, so that when you double click it doesn't perform that way? I would like to set it to CTRL-Double click if possible, it would make the program a lot more user friendly for m

ive got several combo boxs on a search form and its all working great if you select the items from the list, but have a problem if you type the value, the selectedvalue isnt being returned what do i need to do, this is what im using to get the value when selecting via clicking

I'm brand spanking new and trying to learn VB.net on my own but am doing a horrible job. It seems I can follow basic tutorial instructions and do them correctly but not learn how to do things on my own.
Anyway, I'm trying to do simple stuff first like have a textbox and a button that I click that adds 1 to the value in the textbox and makes the textbox output that value but I can't get it to work for the life of me. I have a button (named Test) and I have the X and Y coordinates of the 3 buttons (Which are A, B and C) to click. Now what I want to do is, when the Test(button) is pressed, timer1 (22 seconds) would start and after 22 seconds it presses automatically button A and if it isn't the right button then it will wait another 22 seconds and then presses button B and if it is right it will start another 22 seconds and if it is wrong it would start another 22 seconds and press button C. If the correct button was B then another 22 seconds would start and this time it would start again from A.
1.When Button TEST is press the timer will count down 22 seconds.
2.After 22 seconds it will press the button A (timer will stop)
3.If button A was the correct letter then Timer will count another 22seconds.
4.If button A was wrong it will start the timer (22seconds) and then press B (timer stopped).
5.If button B was correct, timer will start another 22 seconds (back to step 2)
6.If button B was wrong then timer will start and will click button C. (timer stopped)
7.If button C was correct then timer will start (Back to step 2)
8.Will continue like this until 25 clicks had been made then it will stop.
