I'm using EPPlus to create Excel reports. Now i'm trying to create a Pivot with a DateTime PageField, so that the user can filter the period he want to see by himself. But although i can filter this for year,month or days in the according data worksheet by default, i don't get it working in the Pivot.

Brand new to VB 2008 Express, but have done some work in VB 6. Not sure what I'm missing, but here goes. I have two comboboxes linked to an Access 2007 database. One box lists the names of the States in the US.
This is what I used for the Table Adapter Configuration Wizard for the combobox "State" SELECT ST_UID, ST_NAME FROM STATE
For the combobox County I used: SELECT ST_UID, CTY_NAME FROM COUNTY ST_UID is an Integer.
I created a label with a bound value to STATE.ST_UID so that when a user selects the name of a state from the State box the appropriate ST_UID populates the label, (i.e, California has an ST_UID = 5).
The problem is when a state is selected, I only want the Counties for that state to appear in the County box, i.e, COUNTY.ST_UID = 5 if California is the selected state.
I then tried to convert the value in the st_uid label to an integer:

Issue in the below code is, I use dataview inside for each so that it checks only one condition that is last value only it takes, I want to check value in s1 with dataview and remaining value should bind with listview. I'm having a little trouble trying figure out a way to filter specific file formats to only show in a Listview. For example I only want .txt files to show in a Listview and no other file formats. Then i got a dropdown box which i was hoping to use a filter on. Every file is in a cabinet, but since those are somewhat alphabetically i have more then 1 cabinet for certain letters. This is why i wanted to use a filter to get a list of all people in a certain cabinet.

What would be the problem here? I can't seem to find any samples with filtering through the BackgroundWorker.

I am making a combobox dropdown to filter a report. I am using the table adapter to query the data and fill the report from the selected item in the combobox. However, if the user select index 0 (which is "-Select User-") , then the query should disable the filter and select all users in the database.
