Conditional Statement In Jet SQL Call Form Vb.2005

How do I(Can I) code a conditional statement in a TableAdapter query? I have a product code which can be either 8 or 9 characters long. Product codes are stored in an Access 2003 db table. I need to group products so in Access I have a simple Function which work fine in a Jet SQL query. But I can't get it to work in VB 2005.

Quick question, of which the quickest and easiest answer may well be to rearrange related code, but let's see...So I have an If statement (a piece of code which is a part of a full working solution written in C#) rewritten using VB.NET. I am aware the VB.NET IIf(a, b, c) method evaluates both b and a regardless of the trueness of the first evaluation, but this seems to be the case in my standard construct, too:

I created a sql query to check if the mobile number is registered or not. If its registered, it will send the new pin code to the customer and if its not, the customer will get a message that "This number is not registered or you are not authorized to this"... something like that... Sending of new code is already working. I just dont know how to make it as conditional statement like PHP. After you query on PHP, you can just set a variable and make a conditional statement..Here is my script in vb.net:

how to create a conditional statement if the value of rows is zero or not.I want my output to something like... IF the value is zero, an sms message will be sent to the client that he is not registered ELSE an sms message will be sent containing his new autogeneration code. I am trying to make a programming language and cant figure out how read the part of the string I want in a conditional statement. Ive tried this:

I have a form which obtains data from text boxes and stores them in a file. If fields are missing, an error message is displayed. i have the following CallSets defined for serveral views including a combo box. If a user chose INDIVIDUAL, UNITEMIZED or CANDIDATE from the cbo box I wanted the view "AddIndividual" to be called. However, if anyother entity was chosen than it would call the view "AddOrganization." The "View", "Edit", and "Add" calls work but not the "AddIndividual" or "AddOrganization"

I was convinced that If <expression> Then <statement [:statement]> Else [statements] in concrete form of If a = b Then SayHello() Else SayBye() End has sense. I read article on msdn on If-then-else, but I forgot why I was reading, so I concluded, that snippet above means this
If a = b Then HelloIsSaid : IsNotEnded Else ByeIsSaid : IsEnded But I have tested it now, and I see, that Else without statement is nothing more than decoration. It would be pretty good if it had function I described. Do you think its good request? Or do you know any circumstance where this Else has some function?

I'm struggling to figure this out on my own. First of all I'm not sure if my calculations are right for the BusinessCustomer part. Its supposed to be:
Processing fee:$16.50
Basic service fee: $80 for first 10 connections; $4 for each additional connection
Premium channels: $50 per channel for any number of connections
anyways, what Im mainly concerned about is clearing the label when the radio buttons are changed. I have tried adding "Call Clear()" in certain event procedures with no luck. Does anyone have any advice or tips? Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm trying to create an array to be handled during my code. I want to create it as soon as I open the program so I've placed it in my bit of constructor code. This code was working fine before I tried to initialize a new array in there but when I place that in I get the above error message. This occurs whether I put the new array bit of code first in my constructor class or not.

I am having problem with the coding of this (endless loop) and formatting of summary boxes before tests are complete that should not happen. (the overall goals is to have a separate validation procedure that does not calculate or dat displays are not performed until after call function is complete and valid.
