Creating A Container Control Out Of A UserControl Can't Access Controls At Runtime?

I have created a usercontrol that contains two rectangle shapes to create a unique button effect and a rounded-corner rectangle shape serving as a border to provide a look similar to a group box. It also contains two labels, one for use with a Text property of the control and the other to indicate the status of expansion of the control. The control is designed to collapse itself when the "button" is clicked leaving only the "button" visible. Clicking it again toggles this affect. I've dubbed it an ExpansionBar. It is also designed to be a container control so that I can add controls to it and allow these to disappear when the bottom portion collapses. The problem is that the controls contained in this usercontrol cannot be accessed during runtime. In other words, I can add a checkbox to it and it will disappear correctly when the control collapses, but I can't select the checkbox to check it... same thing with any other controls, you can see, but can't touch. I'm a novice developer, so I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.
i'm building a control. then the control can be puted in form(or other container) and i need to know what controls are in that container. for now i don't put it to work:

I am having some problems adding controls at runtime, or I guess I should say accessing the controls after adding them.The application starts off with a tab control named "tabIncidents" and one tab for an incident information. The user can click on a button to add a client. When the button is pressed a second tab is added to "tabIncidents" named "Clients." On the newly created "Clients" tab another tabcontrol is added named "tabClients" and we create a tab named "Client". Multiple "Client" tabs can be created on this tabcontrol. Each "Client" tab gets a usercontrol added named "clientInformation" which has name and address textboxes.

TabIncidents.tabFirstTab (already exists) TabIncidents.Clients (new tab added at runtime if user clicks a button) TabIncidents.Clients.tabClients (new tabcontrol on the new tab)
I've been building controls for many years professionally and personally, but even back in VB6 days I just could not work this out. After all this time I remembered about it again.If I create a usercontrol/containercontrol and add one or more controls to the controls surface, I just cannot figure out how to access the controls at design time.
I want to set the value of x that is the location of the controls inside a selected usercontrol at runtime. i want to set it to be 0 when there is no control on the usercontrol and i want it to be x += control.width. how can i do this, maybe how can i detect that there is a control inside the usercontrol.
VB.NET 2.0 Framework..I developed a control that implements IExtenderProvider in order to attach to controls and display a form for translating of the text of that control.This works great on regular controls on the form but the IExtenderProvider is not attaching to controls on UserControls by default.Is it possible to modify the UserControl or my IExtenderProvider control to enable it to attach to controls on a UserControl?
I want to create a Panel dynamically on the form when a button is clicked. Also labels with given TEXT are also to be created when create label button is clicked. then we should be able to print the form contents as it appears but without any buttons. We should be able to resize the panel to adjust the page size.

I grabbed some sample code to generate 100 comboboxes at runtime. The short version of the code is shown below, I left out all the combo box fortmatting and placement details...

it produces all the comboboxes and looks fine, but i cannot figure out how to reference an individual combobox. Are they in an array? How do you single out a single combo box, for example, how would I check the value of the 33rd combo box?
how to add controls in panel control runtime. I mean, I want to add group box at runtime. When I click on my button, it should add a group box in my panel and when I click again, it should move the first group box down and add the second. Every group box should have a label control in it.
For some reason the Webbrowser document complete sub will not work. I even tried Public wb as New webbrowser. I will be disposing on the WB many times while the app is running. I need to be able to recreate it so that it continues to work with the WB document complete sub to trigger events...
At design-time, when one clicks a control it is selected and this state is depicted with a frame drawn around the control. I would like to know how can I mimic the same effect at runtime; that is, how can I draw a similar frame around a control when the user clicks over it?

I seem to be having a problem with controls that I am creating as new classes (not UserControls) inheriting from an existing system control. Everything seems ok while I create the control code, through to the compile (which is successful and adds the control to the toolbox) and dragging the control from the toolbox to the GUI surface. I have a couple user controls that are loaded by a Select Case statement. However, in the behind code file for the main page that loads these controls, none of the asp controls show up in intellisense. I had a feeling it's because the controls are loaded conditionally. My question is what is the best way to solve this?
1) Load the controls and do a Select Case in the behind code to make them hidden or not.
2) Is there a way to say (psuedocode): LoadUserControl("UserControl1").Controls("tbTest").Text = ""
3) How can I pass a dataset to the User Control file?
I have a form named VBProject It has two TextBoxes and one custom control named MyControl which is created in another project.MyControl's project has a form inside, named Form3. When My control is loaded it needs to find all controls in my VBProject and add them into a listbox which is in Form3. Then Show the Form3. i am creating a table in vb.net code (htmltable) with htmltablerows and htmltablecell. I gave on image control but thatr control cant have the .imageurl property, which i need cause i have a handler image.ashx which brings image from the database. heres' the code -

I want a list of all controlls in my project, not only on open forms. The reason is that i want to make an access control, and the admin will set which buttons each users can use.

I have a custom control of type MyListControl with a Property called NotifiedList. I would like that when selecting that property in the Property Grid at runtime, that a dropdown list is populated with all the instances of type MyListControl that shared the same container as the original control.
