I want to click on a column on a Datagrid then have a "delete button" which will remove that column from the datagrid and my Source which is a Access Database.
I have a datagrid being filled by the data adapater connected to my database.I have a delete button on the form, i cant figure out how to delete the selected row on the datagrid when the delete button is clicked.

I am trying to delete a row from the datagrid when a button is clicked, however the line which I have BOLDED shows an error which is its not a member of the system.windows forms. Any ideas on what I should change it too? I am aware that that line of code is for a datagridview not a Datagrid which is what im using.

I have created a test application to display data in a datagrid, using the Dataset Wizard per the help. All fine - data is displayed.
I then added insert, delete and update queries by selecting Edit Dataset with Designer, selecting the table and adding a query for each action via the TableAdapter Configuration Wizard. In Advanced Options, all boxes are checked, and on the last screen of the wizard it says it has generated SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE statements, table mappings, Fill, Get and update methods. The TableAdapter shows four entries: Fill, GetData(); DeleteQuery; InsertQuery; UpdateQuery. On the DataGridView Tasks page, Adding, Editing and Deleting are checked and the data preview shows data.
When I run the application, I can update, add and delete data, but this is not saved.

This works fine, unless I have Windows Explorer open and I'm looking at the 'MySubFolder' directory. Then I get an IOException The directory is not empty. - clicking OK dismisses this and then the folder structure is not deleted. Any thoughts on how I can get this to perform correctly (i.e. delete), even when running this code while having the folder struture open in Windows Explorer?

It appears that the row gets marked for deletion after my BindingNavigatorDeleteItem_Click event handler is processed. Is there no way to cancel the delete activity from within the delete click event? If not, then it becomes necessary to store a delete flag and catch another event to RejectChanges.
