VS 2010 Webbrowser Fill Text - Won't Update The Submit Button To Allow To Submit The Form
Feb 17, 2012I have a webbrowser and on a form I need it to fill text. The problem is, in order for the submit button to activate, you have to atleast type in 1 letter for it to update and make it send. The problem is when I do document.getElementById("p1").innerHTML= "SSSS" it works but it wont update the submit button to allow me to submit the form. What should I do?

I'd like to always register any change in a checkbox, without the use of a submit button (the user could forget to do it, and it would waste time). So, is there a way to handle this inside the view? Word Template - Print The Document (Letter) With All The Merge Fields Filled
Jun 6, 2011I have a program in which I am trying to do the mail merge with the word template that I already have.
I have already setup the datasource for the word template in the word itself and it is pointing to my Employee Table which has all the information for the employee. I have also inserted the merge fields in the document where ever I need them. Now I want to print the document (Letter) with all the merge fields filled in from my application but for only employee whose Name or Number I sent from my program not all the employees I have in the datasource.
Now if I have to do it in Word, we have an option called Find Recipient in Mailings -> Preview Results in which I can set the Name or Number of the employee to get all his information to do the merge but how can I do the same thing from my program.
I can send all the fields values from my code like in the code below but I want to use my datasource to provide values. I have employee's Number I want to provide to the template to find the employee - so all the values are filled based on the employee's Number.

Containing A Date Textbox And A Submit Button And A Close Window Button?
Apr 23, 2010I have a form containing a date textbox and a submit button and a close window button. The date textbox onblur calls a javascript function which checks for date validation and some other logic and displays some alert messages. The date on the textbox is always selected and onfocus. My problem is when I try to click the close window button with/without changing the date the alert messages from the onblur logic are displaying and I am unable to close the window. I tried using onchange instead of onblur but onchange too works when a control looses focus. it works fine when I donot change the date but when I change the date and hit the close window button it too displays the alert messages and the window does not close. Please suggest me what will be my best option.

When the user clicks on the CmdGetCoupon it takes some time to redirect..so the user clicks on the CmdGetCoupon more than once,which results in multiple coupon generation from a single user account.

I've just notice that when I click on a button, and try to disable it in order to avoid the user clicking on it several times during process (or disable the entire form for that matter), the application somehow records the subsequent clicks and processes them after the button has been re-enabled. But that's not the behavior that I want at all. I just want to disable any user interaction with the button (or the form perhaps) until processing of the Button_Click event is completed. How can I do this?

Oct 18, 2011Background: I have a GridView which gets populated from an SqlDataSource via DataSourceID. The rows show some summary data from an SQL View. Upon clicking a row, I would like to take my user to another page with a DetailsView control which gets populated with the full set of values from the DB related to the row clicked. My user should be able to edit the data, download files associated with the record, and create a new record of a different type based on said data.
Error: All examples that I've found for Clickable GridView rows end up with some variation of the error Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page.

Jan 25, 2010im wondering if it is possible at all to bisable a button after it being clicked because i have no idea on where to start on doing this. I only know how to get it to disable for the one session but when the program is run again it is enabled again. Is there any way to just keep it disabled because it nly ever needs to be clicked once.

In order to do that I need to use calls to API methods like GetSystemMenu, EnableMenuItem and RemoveMenu. I can figure out how these methods work but there are certain parameters that these methods have whose values that need to be passed to them as argument is unknown to me. How can I know them.
E.G.- for EnableMenuItem, the parameters are- hMenu (handle to the menu), uIDEnableItem (The menu item to be enabled, disabled, or grayed), uEnable (This parameter must be a combination of at least two of the following:
MF_BYCOMMAND or MF_BYPOSITION
MF_ENABLED, MF_DISABLED, or MF_GRAYED)
Now when I call this method from my application I supply the current window handle as the first argument, the item no. to be disabled/enabled as the second argument but I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT TO SEND AS THE THIRD ARGUMENT. What exactly are the possible values for those parameters- MF_BYCOMMAND or MF_DISABLED. I checked certain examples where they are supplying hexadecimal values like &HF060, &H1, 0x400, 0x1000, 0x2 etc. or integer values like 1024, 2 etc. But how would I know what exactly these values are and when to use which value. The same problem arises in case of calling RemoveMenu method. If you know about any chart or tutorial that lists the values of these parameters
Disabling A Button Based On The Criteria Of Two Text Box's
Jun 21, 2010im trying to disable a button until anything has been entered into two text boxes simultaneously.
So far i have tried:

However it doesnt work simultaneously, the button will become enabled if i enter anything into either textbox, i cant have any of them left blank.

Increase The Function Of The Submit Button?
Oct 25, 2011I have a webform currently works like a charm. It posts the info entered directly into my database with out issue.
I need to add a step in there where when the submit for is pressed an email will be sent to one of 2 different emails addresses.
The snippets below are the 2 statements I think I need to have in the code, I just haven't been able to figure out how to complete them.

RadioButtons And A Submit Button In A Dialog?
Jan 15, 2011I'm making a basic game in Visual Basic, and I have a form called "Level1". In Level1, you press a button, and it pops up a dialog (I made the dialog, which is just called "Dialog"). The dialog has an empty label because once you press a button in Level1, in the click event, the label text is set, along with the RadioButton text. The Label is a question such as "What is 10 x 10?" and the RadioButtons display possible answers. Below the RadioButtons, is a Submit button that the user clicks once a RadioButton is selected. The thing is, I only have one dialog box because the game has 5 levels and 9 buttons per level, so I don't want to make 45 separate dialog boxes. Is there a way I can make the Submit button click event in the click event of the first button in Level1?
