I Was Coding A Tabbed Web Browser With A Progress Bar In Visual Basic 2010 Express Edition. I Started De-Bugging The Browser When It Pointed To This Sub: Private Sub Loading(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As Windows.Forms.WebBrowserProgressChangedEventArgs)
ToolStripProgressBar1.Maximum = e.MaximumProgress
ToolStripProgressBar1.Value = e.CurrentProgress

And Showed This Error Message: ArgumentOutOfRangeException Was Unhandled By User Code Value of '-1' Is Not Valid For 'Value'. 'Value' Should Be Between 'Minimum' And 'Maximim'

I have that so far. It was working great for the names part until I attempted to do the level part, now i get the following error:
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: InvalidArgument=Value of '1' is not valid for 'index'.
Also at the line where i use a goto statement to go back to the beginning of the loop, is there any way i can do that without a goto statement? Like a second loop statement or something?

In this screen I want to let the user decide which elements are on shown on a label. When I hit the update button (BDUpdate_Click; see below), it first checks whether the Barcode sample text is empty. Afterwards I want to invole the refresh of the label preview. The strange thing is that the first time it works fine, but when I alter the sample text and hit the button again, I get the Error "System.ArgumentException was unhandled. Parameter is not valid." I'm trying to make a Tetris game in VB 2010. I am having some problems with a function I have written that draws new squares and fills them with the colour needed. Here are the details of the error:

The line g.DrawRectangle(Pens.Black, lngX, lngY, 24, 24) is highlighted as the error. 'g' is the graphics of the form and lngX and lngY are the predetermined coordinates of the shape as long variables.I have researched this error but I couldn't understand Microsoft's explanation, and no other threads applied to my case.

im running the following bit of code in a background worker and it is coming up with the following error

The code below is used to check if the application setting, an arraylist is populated or not via the count method.
When running the program fails with error "NullReferenceException was unhandled" as initially the setting (arraylist) will contain no values.In similar circumstances I would declare a new instance of the object or set value to string.empty or check if DBNull.
I know application settings have a save method but to reference/load them one is not needed.I also left the value field in the projects -> settings to be empty.[code]...

I was wondering if its possible for VB to display all available COM ports that are open. he reason that I ask this is because this program will be run on various computers where the COM port will not always be the same. I have a text box now that the user can choose which com number he/she wants but if the wrong one is entered, the program crashes rather than displaying an error message. It would also be nice for the system to show which available com numbers there are
