Excel - Data To Be Inputed Into The "line Schedule"?

instead of trying to explain the layout and everything, ill just post a link, with a screen shot. It's pretty self explanatory.

Pic 1 is a daily Schedule that i use.
Pic 2 is a Weekly Schedule with all the employee's and the times they work at.I dont know how to set it up, so that..When i select an employee's name, their position, & shift time. I want that data to be inputed into the "line Schedule".And their Shift time to be inputed onto the "weekly Schedule" under their name.Is this possible?

Im currently working on a major project for school that i can keep track of customers, giftcards, and primarily appointments. My current issue is how im going to build the weekly schedule page. I dont even know where to start with the ui let alone coding after that. Once i can figure out how im going to build i should be able to finish it from there.
Primarily its supposed to take info from the SQL database i have setup and from there populate the schedule on the screen. Its supposed to be like a weekly schedule with 15 minute blocks from 9 am to 9 pm for everyday of the week. The user will be able to choose the week to display from a datetimepicker control. The table holds each appointments date, time, length, cost, type, as well as an appt id for each appt and a user id to keep track of who the appt is for.

Below is the code i am using for user input which works fine apart from one thing that i can not work out how to do.I want to detect if a user had inputed a character in the wrong place. The correct input is:

How would i detect the extra '' at the end?

i got the following things:
-A button (called "btnplayvoice")
-A textbox(multi-line enabled, called "txtinput")
-Some *.wav audio files in my "resources" (2 of them called "A.wav" and "B.wav", of course there are still some more sound files in my resources xD)Note: the button and the txtbox are in the same form.
i want to make a program with this feature:When I type "B A"(note between "B" and "A" has a space)into txtinput, then i click the btnplayvoice, it will look up and check the resources and see if the wav file exists there, if yes, it will play the related(same as inputed) sound files one by one in correct order. That mean in this case I should hear "B.wav -> A.wav" in this order.

I am developing a program where i will download and save an xml file from a url as abc.xml. I am trying to read excel data (Excel 2007 SP1, on Windows XP SP3) with visual basic .net 2008 (VB 9.0 SP1). I created a VBA project in Excel. I would like to figure out how to transfer the data back in forth to make a more presentable and user-friendly program in VB Studio.Basically, I need my form in VB to input data to into an excel �workbook.data�, where the calculations are preformed. Then I need to copy the finished excel data cells �workbook.results� and paste them into an end result form in VB. I have tried looking at threads and cannot come up with a solution. There is no data saved each time the program runs, so I don't have a database.

I am reading from an excel information from column 'D' where something in column 'E' is <> to something. This is fine, but I want to change the value of column 'E' once it has read the information from column 'D' so that next time it reads it, it wont read that same line again, because column 'E' will have changed value.[code]This line is the one that doesnt do anything, but I want it to update the value of column 'E' with Yes: cmd. I am creating an application which uses OleDb to connect to an Excel spreadsheet and read the data into DataTable. The problem that I am having is that some of the columns I am getting are coming up blank, I've managed to narrow down that this is because that the first few lines for that column are blank. As unfortunately this is valid in the context of the Excel spreadsheet as not all dates etc. are required to be filled in. I was wondering whether anyone knows of any way that I could go about ensuring that the columns are populated by the OleDbDataReader even if the first x number of rows have that column as blank.

There is a program that reads an Excel file using OLEDB and converts it to a tab delimited text file. This loop handles the conversion.

In the excel i have numers and text and "Service Pack", "Processor Speed" and "Numar procesoare(Number of processors)" and the values for these are numers. in the data grid when i import the excel those values doesn't appear, i receive the value "null".

I am trying to save details from my program into a sort of mini database using excel, my program isnt having a problem opening the excel file, it is having trouble inputting the data. The first problem i would like help with is maybe a loop of some sort to get my program to look through each line on my excel spreadsheet and find the next empty line so it can input the data.
I was having some help from another person who gave me some code which go's to the very bottom cell and goes up until it finds text and then off sets by 1. However this was in the form of a macro, and I need a way to do it from my program.

I am creating reports using the Microsoft ReportViewer control.I am encountering some formatting issues when exporting the reports into Excel. The problem is that I am specifying a line width of 1pt in ReportViewer, which is the smallest line possible (or is it?).When the export is done, the line widths in Excel are all thick borders.I am trying to figure out how to get the line widths to be standard lines in Excel.

I am reading in data from an excel file that is only viewed inside the program. This excel file is being populated by data from multiple PLCs (7) through DDE links via RS Linx Gateway. I would like this data to be written to two different excel files and specific sheets within those so that it can be viewed later on.
My program has a form that will allow the user to view the data live, meaning they look at the first excel file from the program so that they are not able to edit the DDE links or change the file in any way. The other excel files (there will be two, one for good parts, one for bad parts) have specific sheets for each part and each tester station. For example, if the part is a ABC part, and it is a good part, and it was tester on tester station 1 then it needs to be saved to the good parts excel file, in the ABC sheet and in the good tester station 1 sheet.
If part XYZ comes along and is a bad part (fails testing) then it needs to be saved to the bad parts file, the XYZ sheet and the bad tester station 1 sheet.I might have added more detail than is needed to solve the problem but I thought I would add it anyways to help you all understand my problem a little better.
