Pass Data From Datagridview To Textbox And Append New Data To The Next Line?

I am trying to click on certain rows in a datagridview and have the information in the rows sent to a textbox. It does not append each row to the textbox though, which is what I want it to do. it just replaces it with the row I click on. What's wrong with my code. I have tried cell click too.

I am developing a program where i will download and save an xml file from a url as abc.xml. I open the abc.xml in a datagridview with a dataset without problem.I am confused how can i read raw per raw the datagridview and assign the data in a database table? i am using vb 2008 + msde2005 express.I show the whole content of the xml file in the datagridview with the following [code]I dont know how to create a loop where i can read the datagridview line by line save data in variables (ex.strings) and save it in a databese table?

I'm currently working on this search page. I'm using access database, InventorySystem.mdb, tablename is ALL. On this webpage I have 5 radiobuttons: All, Status, Requestor, Group and Applications. A textbox: to input search text A button: A search button to generate gridview So for example I will select status, then I will input "live" and click the button. All the data which status = live should appear in the datagrid. How can I do so?

Is it possible to have a Textbox on a form that when the user inputs data, ( during Runtime )that data remains in the Textbox for good and the Textbox then becomes read only ? Is it also possible to make it so that the CD with the programme on, is in the PC when the programme is being used. Perhaps writing the Textbox data back onto the CD ?

How can I transfer the data from the Specified cell of the Datagridview to texbox.. For example I click on the specified Datagridview cell, I have a 3 columns Name,Username and Password. I am trying to retrieve data to a textbox from a datagridview. I have Tabcontrol with two tabs naming Data Sheet View and Form View. The datagridview is in Data Sheet view while my textboxes are in Form View.

I have a tool connected to access database. It retrieves the database based on certain input conditions from 4 textboxes, 1 list box. The data from database comes to a datagridview. I have to enter certain values in a particular column in datagridview and continue with my calculations.At this stage I wan to save my file with the data I have entered so far. Just started VB programming this week and have found a wealth of information about what I'm trying to do. Problem is, some of it is more complete than others.Here's what I'm trying to do:In Form1 (my main form), I want to instantiate a class that contains a couple of properties (speed setpoint and position setpoint). When I click a button, I want to pass this data to Form2 and populate two textboxes on Form2 with the properties of this object. I want to manipulate the property values on Form2 and click an OK button which closes the dialog and returns the manipulated data, updating the property values of the object. Here's the algorithm I'm following:1) On Form1, instantiate the class2) On Form1's "Pass Data" button click event handler, instantiate a Form2 object and invoke the ShowDialog method, passing the object as a parameter.
3) On Form2, overload the ShowDialog method to accept the object as a parameter and modify the method so that it returns the manipulated class data.4) On Form2, in the ShowDialog method, populate the textboxes with the class data that was passed in.Here's where I get stuck. If I press the OK button on Form2 (DialogResult.OK), it returns me to Form1, but what hook do I have in Form1 to receive the manipulated class data that the ShowDialog method is returning?Here's an example of what I'm thinking about:

I have worked out all the other bugs in my Staffing app. A while back .paul helped me with exporting my data to excel. So what I need to do now is this:
Schedule AM RN's and export to excel DONE
Schedule PM RN's and export to excel appending to existing worksheet
Schedule AM NT's and export to excel appending to existing worksheet
Schedule PM NT's and export to excel appending to existing worksheet
Schedule AM WC's and export to excel appending to existing worksheet
Schedule PM WC's and export to excel appending to existing worksheet
I only need 1 workbook, and each new full schedule will be a new worksheet with the beginning date/ending date as the worksheet name.

just looking for a bit of help from anyone.
