Save Data From Textbox, Listbox And Datagridview?

I have a tool connected to access database. It retrieves the database based on certain input conditions from 4 textboxes, 1 list box. The data from database comes to a datagridview. I have to enter certain values in a particular column in datagridview and continue with my calculations.At this stage I wan to save my file with the data I have entered so far. Is there a way i can save this data into another file (for example say " SAMPLE"), so that when I open the SAMPLE file from my tool it should display all the values I have saved in the respective controls.

I have 7 textbox entries and I would like to add them to a listbox and when I close my application it would save them, I have the code for the 7 texboxes and everything like that has been done, but I just dont know how to add multiple textboxs to a listbox then save the list box so when I close the application and reopen it, itll still be there. I know I need a button to add the list to the listbox, but how do I save them, so theyll still be there?

I try to use VB .net to develop a small program. In this program, there has a form. In this form, there have several text box and toolbar. The problem is after I input text into textbox and I do not press <enter> key, I go to click save button in form's toolbar. I found that this textbox's data cannot save into database. If I press <enter> key after I input text into textbox, data can save into database properly.

I am trying to click on certain rows in a datagridview and have the information in the rows sent to a textbox. It does not append each row to the textbox though, which is what I want it to do. it just replaces it with the row I click on. What's wrong with my code. I have tried cell click too.

I'm having a problem with my software.
This is are the parts of my system where my problem occurs:
- Search Button
- List Box1
- TotalTextbox
- Button
- SQL Database with a Column named "Amount" and it only contains numbers Datatype is System.String
So, basically a user clicks the Search button and searches for a data in the SQL Database, and the result of the search displays in different Listboxes including the "Amount" Column from the database, which has it's own Listbox named "Listbox1". the Listbox is now filled with numbers.
Goal: The goal is to get the Sum of all the "Numbers" Displayed in the Listbox1, and the Total is then Displayed into a Textbox via using Click event or automatically.
The Code:
Dim sum As Double
For x As Integer = 0 To ListBox1.Items.Count - 1
sum += CDbl(ListBox1.Items(x))
Next
TotalTextBox.Text = sum.ToString
And i got this Error: Conversion from type 'DataRowView' to type 'Double' is not valid.
I ended up with this..

For x As Integer = 0 To ListBox1.Items.Count - 1
sum += Val(ListBox1.Items.Item(x).ToString)
Next
TotalTextBox.Text = sum.ToString
But the values are not adding up, the total is always at 0. i've been searching for hours now from the net to a better way of doing this.
Here's a quick Flow on what im trying to accomplish here. Record from Database -----Displays on---> Listbox1 -----User Clicks--> Button1 ----Displays Total sum on----> Textbox1

My code is this:

At first I can insert data into the cells and save it... but when I try to edit the same cell with data already saved in it I get this error...
sqlcelexception was unhandled
There was an error parsing the query.

I also get the same error when deleting an already saved cell with data.

I'm using VB Express 2008 in Windows 7 64-bit. I'm working on a project with a datagridview bound to a MS Access 2007 database. I want to use the datagridview to add, delete and update the data in the MS Access database. When I added the database file to the project through the Datasource Configuration Wizard, I selected 'No' to copy the file to the project folder. The connection string automatically placed in the project settings is: Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source="F:My MoneyDoBillsDoBills2009.accdb"* The 'Copy to Output Directory" property for the DoBills2009DataSet.xsd is set to '*Do not copy*'(and I've tried every other setting available). So, as I understand it, I am working with the original file, not a copy, and any changes (additions, deletions, field changes, etc.) are made directly to the original file. I have added the following code to the datagridview rowleave event: [code]I'll figure out a way to skip the update if nothing is changed, but for right now, it doesn't work.
