Database - Datagridview To Textbox Binding Data?

When the program is executed, the datagridview populate data and also the textboxes(example StockNumber,Description) and when i typed words in the search textbox ,the datagridview filters the matching words.When I clicked the item in the datagridview the textboxes does not changed it didnt show the information...

I have one DataGridView named dgv.dgv is pretty much a plain gridview. No bounded data. No columns added. It's basically empty.I also have one DataTable named dt.I add rows and columns manually into dt.
dt.Columns.Add(New DataColumn("TexBox", GetType(String)))
dr = dt.NewRow()
dr("TextBox") = String.Empty
dt.Rows.Add(dr)
I then simply set dgv datasource into dt.
dgv.DataSource = dt
dgv.Refresh()
I then set the value for this particular cell.
dgv.Item(0,0).Value = "xxx"
Now when I run and execute all those commands. I happen to retrieve the gridview with that value indeed. The "xxx" cell appeared and currently it's uneditable.What I want to achieve is:Allow this "xxx" cell to be editable. Preferrably if it can be inserted into a TextBox control inside the cell.

I have a bit of code which loads data from a stored procedure in MS SQL Server and then loads the data to a datagridview, which works fine. What i want is for the code that connects / loads the data to sit in my Database Class and then everything associated with the datagridview to be stored in my Form but i am having problems passing the contents of the bindingsource over to the Form from the Database Class.

I have one textbox at form named "Ord ID". I have bind database table with datagridview control and now on load event data is displaying correctly. In Datagridview there is one column which is checkbox type, suppose at datagrid there are 10 records displaying, and I have tick 6 checkbox for 6 records, so when I press add button then the value exist in textbox automatically comes to only six records of Datagridview column named "StatusID".

I have a datagridview (Unbound), which calculate several numbers, and I use this following code to save 5 of the columns to a XML file. My problem is that I would like to load this file back to my datagridview, and onlu to the same columns, without changing the rest of the datagridview.
Code used to create XML file:

I'm unsure as to how to take two pieces of information from a table and display them into a textbox. The textbox should display the 'Balance' and the total money available for withdrawl (balance + overdraft limit). i need a hand on how do i set my initial value for textbox as blank. I tried to I load my textbox a data coming from my database but what my problem is that I need to set my default value for textbox as blank because everytime I load the forms the textbox will be filled immediately with data. I developed an application with old VB form and binding the data from Oracle database into VB form. Actually, I tried to bind the data more than 35000 records in to grid. But, it takes more than half an hour and also form was hanged and there is no output. Can you please let me know the solution to fix it and bind the data without any hang in my application. I am using two autocomplete textboxes and both of them are binding data from the same table. What I want is when I select an item from the autocomplete drop down list of textbox1 not to have the textbox2 value set. Example :
Column1 Column2
Row1 value1 value2
Row2 value3 value3
When I select value1 for textbox1 I get automatically value2 in textbox2. I do not want that.I want when I select value1 for textbox1 , textbox2 to remain empty until I select a value for it (it maybe value3)

I am trying not to become intimidated or give up.I created a simple database and added stored procedures to read the data on a Windows form using Visual Basic in VS 2010.First I tried the Data Grid Example and all worked, I was able to view the data using a connection string to call the Stored procedure.I have stepped it up a notch by trying to bind data to form controls and I am getting this error message when I try to navigate through the data.

I am trying to click on certain rows in a datagridview and have the information in the rows sent to a textbox. It does not append each row to the textbox though, which is what I want it to do. it just replaces it with the row I click on. What's wrong with my code. I have tried cell click too.

I have three tables in SQL server which I would like to show and access on a form. Table 1 contains account data, address, contact details etc. Table two contains data attached to a Person, tel no , Mobile no, Email etc. Table three contains details on what awards the person holds, i.e. one person can hold several awards.
Therefore I have a one many relationship between the first two tables and a one many relationship between the second two tables. This is set up in SQL
The first two tables are shown on a form, table 1 via a set of text boxes, table 2 via a datagrid control.
I would like the functionality whereby I could select a row in the datagrid showing the persons name and find the Persons_ID number then use that as a filter to a second datagrid view so that only the selected persons awards show in the datagrid.

I have two forms in my program,on Form1 there's DataGridView and it shows the content of my database,on my Form2 there's few textboxes and listboxes. Wen you select row on Form1.DataGridView and double click the row header it pops up Form2 and shows the info of that previously selected row in those textboxes and listboxes.
Now with some help,i've managed to understand how to do that,but how to make those textboxes and listboxes connected to that row also?
I mean when i enter something in textbox it brings back the value to corresponding cell(to that cell of which value was shown in the textbox). Or how to make that textbox connected to the same row directly in my database itself(probably worse scenario,since any time i type new vallue and hit enter ir will connect to database,other way the value in DataSource will only be changed,it would take less resources and time probably?)

I am trying to retrieve data to a textbox from a datagridview. I have Tabcontrol with two tabs naming Data Sheet View and Form View. The datagridview is in Data Sheet view while my textboxes are in Form View.
