Finding The Time Taken For A Asp.net Page To Render?

I am having an asp.net page which i was showing as a pop up using Nyromodel. the page contains
4 div which is showing as Tabs (using Jquery Tabs). 4 Repeater . Each repeater I am having a custom control and I am setting the value from db by setting the datasource to repeater. (This query may have 300-500 rows). 1 infragistics UltraWebGrid. I add selected values to the grid.
So the problem is it is taking too much time to render if I perform any operation in that UI. I logged the sp execution time, then I found that SP i taking only 2-3 seconds. But the control will render completely after 30-40 seconds. So sp execution time alone is not enough to satisfy the my lead. how to analysis the time of rendering the control.

using VS2008, targetting framework 3.5I have a rather complex UserConrol which does some of its own rendering.I display this UserControl on a form.Opening that form in the Designer creates an instance of the UserControl in the Designer, which tells me a NullReferenceException is occurring in one of my rendering methods.I have attempted to correct this by making alterations to the UserControl's default constructor, but have not found success.

I am not an ardent developer in vb.net programming. But off late I am using vb.net to develop a windows application.
The following is what I am trying to do:
I am reading an excel file and storing the string value present in each cell, and trying to match the string in a word file.
The program works fine except that I am having problems in returning the page numbers of the matched string.
The page number value is always returned as one.
The following is a piece of what I had written:
If FindStringInFile(wordfilename, vValues) Then

I would like to be able to time a page load time in ASP.net (VBscript). Adding Trace="true" to the page directive is nice, but I need to actually time an event and store it in a variable.In ASP it was easy with the Timer object, but in .net I can't find anything on Google.

Bit stuck on this one, have seen alot about how to do it just cant seem to get it right. I want to have 2 text boxes with times in them.. at the moment i have them on click events then it just runs a Now for the time and fills the boxes from the system time. But then i want the 3rd box to find the elapsed time from the 2 times in the previous boxes but i just cant seem to figure it out

I am trying to see find out if a user has been inactive for a certain amount of time by mouse and keyboard events. I want to be able to find this from windows not my form. Basically I am looking for a means within a asp.net 2.0 (or higher) application, to identify a time zone and UTC offset for a specific location and date. I want to be able to look up the time zone rules using either city & state, Zip, or LAT & LON I have an event database that tracks location, date and time for the events. Times are recorder relative to the event and the records do not currenlty indicate the timezone for the event or whether or not DST is in effect. Recently, I have encountered a situation where I need to link several events across different time zones. What I am looking to do is:
first, record a master event, say for August 13 2012 at 8:PM in New York, NY 10021
Second I need to record a related event in Houston TX.
When I record the related event I want it to automatically populate the date and time relative to its local time time zone rules. To do this it needs to be able to identify the effective timezone and UTC offset for the master event as well as the linked event so that I can calculate the correct date and time to display on the satelite program. As a future update I would probably capture the time zone /utc offsets with each program so that I don't have to recalculate the master record each time I want to add a related event.
So far I have not seen a way from system.timezone or timezoneinfo to be able to look up a timezone and the effective UTC offset of a given date and location.

I have a simple WinForm that is using a Tab Control to simplify data entry. The very last page has a text box that allows the user to "set a name" for the file. I really want to simplify this and suggest how the file should be named. What I want
is for when the tab page is entered (consider that generically) that the text box is pre-populted with a name.
This code will do what I want, but only the first time the tab page is entered. what I am apparently missing or a better way to do this?

I use following code to download a web page source code in my project:

The web page I am trying to download is a intranet site. I am periodically downloading the web page for archiving purpose for future reference. The web page will list the current active jobs/projects we work. We process 100's of jobs everyday. The list item will have the Project id, Project name, Project deadline, etc.The download works fine. the web page is downloaded locally. The problem is the date/time format is changed to some other format. If I view the web page in browser, the deadline of one of the project shows as "7/15 03:00".
However, the downloaded webpage shows the deadline of that project as "Wed Jul 14 16:30:00 CDT 2010". I believe it shows in CDT timezone. Also, it shows couple of other timezone too. I think the project might be created from those countries. I am in India timezone.

I have a label called lblMessage. The data of the message is saved in a SQL Server 2005 DB. In my table i have a message ID and then 4 rows with my message ID.
