I'm reading about the WPF Navigation Services and I have a general question.At run-time I want to be able to parse an external XML file that has information about an UI (i.e. a series of screens) and then in the code-behind create a WPF Navigation service with multiple Pages. Is it possible to create a new WPF Page at run-time or do they have to be created in Visual Studio first?

I am trying to use itextsharp to take dynamic information and generate a PDF with it.. The PDF's use a background Image on each page which is different and the text content is positioned where it needs to be using the contentByte helper. Thats the plan anyways. I hit a hang up when I tried to add another page and then drop the image and text onto that page... My first page ends up with the image that should be on my second page and the first page image fails to display at all on either page... My code so far is as follows:

I am creating a notes software. This is just a simple application that will show the data from the database which are Notes_Title, Due_Date, Priority. I display the data with datagridview. I also added a checkbox for each row to the datagridview to mark as check if the Notes_title is already done. In displaying the data, I need to display only a 5 data in a row.So, I create a another CLASS that will only show 5 rows per page. But the PROBLEM is, if I mark the checkbox as check in the first page then if I turn it to the next page the checkbox in the first page that mark as check will be uncheck if I turn it back to the first page. The mark check in the checkbox will mark as uncheck if I turn the page. How can I make it mark as check even if I turn the pages? And How can I save the data row as done if I check

This code was intended to split a long text file into pages based on the calculations of lines_per_page.The code only prints one page of a three page document.But a very strange thing happens if I click print a second time the message box which shows "Document 1 Page X of XX goes crazy up to 100 pages until I click cancel.The code compiles fine, just doesn't function as intended. The Validators set focus to the 'offending' control when an error is detected.
When a business rule is violated, I used the following code to generate some javascript "on the fly" and execute it to simulate the Winforms "MessageBox.Show" functionality:

At the end of the "btnSave.Click" code, if everything went ok, calling that subroutine.
What I get is the page scrolling to the top and then back to where it was when the Save button was clicked.
For various reasons, 'MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback="True"' is in the Page directives at the top of the .aspx code. What I'd really like is to make that FALSE for just a moment so that the page resets at the top - again, only if everything is ok and only for this button (there are other buttons on the page that require the page to keep it's scroll position).

I'm just starting to learn vb.net and have never worked with cookies. I'm wondering if I can store an array of name value pairs in a cookie, so they can be retrieved by index number. I'm not really even sure if that's the best way to handle the issue. I basically want to have three things: an 'add/delete' page that has a text box for creating new favorites, along with a list of their current favorites, with the ability to individual delete favorites from the list.be able to display their existing favorites from the cookie on a separate page and a button I can put on all my pages for 'add this to favorites'I don't mind doing the research, of course, but really need direction on what will be required. I am trying to create a link in a user area of my website. After logging in, the users info is passed to the allow access to specific areas of the site. What I would like to do is create an html link that is controlled by a conditional statement.
for example, after a user logs in, I want to check whether they have credentials to click on a link which will allow them to advance to something new. I have recently started creating a basic game however i am having some trouble creating a time counter. Basically what i want is a counter which is a label displaying say "05:00" as in five minutes. Then when the level is started i want it to count down to zero and make my game over label visible.

I am having an asp.net page which i was showing as a pop up using Nyromodel. the page contains
4 div which is showing as Tabs (using Jquery Tabs). 4 Repeater . Each repeater I am having a custom control and I am setting the value from db by setting the datasource to repeater. (This query may have 300-500 rows). 1 infragistics UltraWebGrid. I add selected values to the grid.
So the problem is it is taking too much time to render if I perform any operation in that UI. I logged the sp execution time, then I found that SP i taking only 2-3 seconds. But the control will render completely after 30-40 seconds. So sp execution time alone is not enough to satisfy the my lead. how to analysis the time of rendering the control.
I have a simple WinForm that is using a Tab Control to simplify data entry. The very last page has a text box that allows the user to "set a name" for the file. I really want to simplify this and suggest how the file should be named. What I want
is for when the tab page is entered (consider that generically) that the text box is pre-populted with a name.

The web page I am trying to download is a intranet site. I am periodically downloading the web page for archiving purpose for future reference. The web page will list the current active jobs/projects we work. We process 100's of jobs everyday. The list item will have the Project id, Project name, Project deadline, etc.The download works fine. the web page is downloaded locally. The problem is the date/time format is changed to some other format. If I view the web page in browser, the deadline of one of the project shows as "7/15 03:00".
However, the downloaded webpage shows the deadline of that project as "Wed Jul 14 16:30:00 CDT 2010". I believe it shows in CDT timezone. Also, it shows couple of other timezone too. I think the project might be created from those countries. I am in India timezone.
I am currently designing an application form that the user fills to use a room in a specified time. The application is to check if the room specified is available at the time period specified. I am stil wondering how to do this such that there is no clash.
