Nov 28, 2009I need a 3d loader (I do not care if it is 3ds,collada or sth else), because I search and I find only c code for opengl until now. Has anybody done this?

Form Control To Allow Resizing ?
Sep 11, 2011My full screen sized Form is locked in size when I reduce it in size by clicking on the "restore down" [ie] not to the minimized size. I mean "locked in size" by I cannot for instance "grab" it on a corner and to increase or decrease its size. I suspect the control is in the properties window but I cannot find it.

May 12, 2009I have drawn out a datagridview onto my form at a certain size.But, say I have 3 rows of data and they dont fill the grid to its bottom. So I'm left with a bunch of empty grey color stuff in the rest of the control below.Is there any simple property/method that will fit the control size to just the rows loaded, or am I being too picky?

Apr 18, 2011[code]i want to extend the window width everytime i expand the expander control to the right.when i run the above quoted xaml and expand the expander control after the build, everything works like expected, but as soon as i manually resize the window, the content of the expander control will expand into the existing area to the left. how can i change this behaviour, so that the window will extend its width to the right side and the content will end up in that new area?

VS 2005 Right Docked Control Flickers While Resizing?
Nov 3, 2009I have two controls (for example the dockable toolbars) on my main form. Now one to the Left L1, and other to the right R1 now when I resize these controls during run time, slowly by a timer , L1 goes pleasantly.(Because size reduction happens from right to left on a control).
On R1, the problem is different, since it is docked right, every time it is resized, it starts flickering...

I use the Webbrowser control to access an ESRI web based mapping solution. When the ESRI map is loaded into an IE browser and the browser is resized then the map control resizing accordingly. When my Webbrowser control is resized the map webpage is not resizing properly.
I don't even know where to start with this problem. Is there some event that's not firing in the website? I can't simply refresh the whole website because the user may have panned and zoomed around. I want to just tell the website that the container control (Webbrowser control) is resizing now.

Apr 26, 2010I am writing a relatively simple "yahtzee" program. Its set up so that the user can pull up a options window and select whether they want the game to be 1 or 2 players. If the user selects 2 players id like the second players score card to become visible on the Score Card window (easy enough with the visible property) and i would like the Score Card form itself to resize it self (at run time) to allow the second players score card to fit. How do i make the form resize to fit 2 players at run time?

Mar 21, 2011I am in the process of creating an all-in-one application for my own purposes. This application has panels with different "Mini-apps" inside of each. Timer, Notepad, Calculator, etc... The top of the application is a drop down menu and each of the drop downs has "Minimize" and "Maximize" for the appropriate application. When the minimize function for a "mini-app" is clicked, then that application is not visible. When maximize is clicked, the the application reappears.What I am attempting to accomplish is that when, for example, the two lower panels are minimized then the form resizes to only show the top two application.Basically, its like rows. If the two bottom are not visible, then the application should resize to fit nicer. An example of this type of application would be Windows Calculator (found in Windows 7 systems and probably other OS).[code]

VS 2008 Resizing Form And Controls?
Dec 23, 2010I have a form that sits on the user's desktop. It's only purpose is to display specific information about the computer. The layout is basically setup like this:

I want to be able to give the user the option to display whatever data they choose. In doing so, I'd like the form to resize itself based on the how many labels are in the form and for the labels to align vertically.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? For the form, I was thinking I could get the location of the last label and offset it's size by the location, or something similar.
VS 2008 Unwanted Form Resizing?

When deployed the Form and even some controls are resized so text and portions of controls are not visible.Next I moved the project files and VB to the XP desktop and published the application on that machine. Apr 16, 2012Having a bit of a nightmare with my application. I have developed my application in 1366 x 768. When moving onto other resolutions, the form looks totally wrong. Is there a way to have the application force itself to open up in a box that will fit the screen?(I'm more than happy to pay someone today or tomorrow who could look at making sure that my form gracefully up / down scales). This really is pretty urgent in that respect. If you have the ability to gracefully scale a form up / down and can do so for me either today or tomorrow, let me know of your price. (Possibly a bit naughty to pop this into the forums but I am willing to pay to get this sorted asap).

Adding Docking Form To App And Auto Resizing
Jun 18, 2009I am trying to add a docking form to my application. I have a good program going so far but I am trying to create a minimize to dock feature in which it minimizes to another form (basically hides one and shows the other). I am working on a 23" monitor but I want this to work on all computers. So what I am looking for is a form that three buttons...left, top, right. When the left button is clicked it will dock the window to that side of the screen and fill all of the space from top to bottom with a width of 200 or so. The second button "top" will dock it to the top of the screen and expand the width to the width of the screen it is on. And a height of 200. And the third button "right" will do the same as the left but will put it on the right side. Also is it possible to reserve that side of the screen. (move all icons on the desktop from behind it to the side of it.

IDE :: Form Components In Controls Magically Resizing
May 31, 2011I have a development system and two test systems. My development system is Windows 7 (64 bit). My two test systems are Windows XP (x86) and Windows 7 (x86). I have created a program on the development system mostly in VB.NET 2008 and deployed it. It looks nice on the development system and on my Windows XP system, but when executing the software on my Windows 7 (x86) system, all the form sizes and components somehow grow. To investigate the issue, I moved over the entire project and opened it on the Windows 7 (x86) system to find that the sizes have somehow changed in the designer there as well. I opened up the .Designer.vb files and the sizes there all seem correct. Then I go to the IDE and the sizes are larger than they should be. For example, I will set a form size to 532, 217 on my development PC then it will show up as 709, 267 on the test system. I tried putting in code on my form.load event to set the size to 532, 217 then re-deployed it, but again, it executes and the form is too large.
