Form With Textbox - Saving Image And Text Separately

I have a Form with a TextBox, and a Save button that saves the text as a .rcp (txt) file. Now I want to add a button that browse for an image that accompany that txt file, and load it into a Picture Box. When I click to Save the txt file, I want it automatically to also save the loaded image With the txt file as the same name as the txt file, without needing to save the image and text separately.
I have this code for my save button:

When I click a Button I what to save all the textBox's text on my form. The code I have Is Below.
In My settings Have I got to List each textBox. Like TextBox1, TextBox2, TextBox3. ect..
IE: My.setting. textBox1 = TextBox1.text (In settings TextBox1: have it as string: User)
IE: My.setting. textBox2 = TextBox2.text (In settings TextBox2: have it as string: User)
Or can I have just one TextBox In my settings, that save's all the TextBox's 1 to 8 on my form

The EID has a picture from the person also.I decided not to save the image directly into the SQL database, but store it in the application directory.However i cannot seem to figure out how i can save it with a filename taken from one or more textboxes.

I was wondering if someone could provide me with some sample code of how to preform this procedure. I have used a code in the past which automatically captures the ENTIRE scren, but I'd like to just capture the form, and not the entire screen. I have a form that I am saving as an image. This form has numerous text boxes, labels and some images displayed within it.The background of the form is an image I have created, so I have set the labels to be transparent to ensure that only the text is shown, and not the background colour of the label box.

This works fine in Vista and Windows 7 and saves ok, but on XP half of the image that is saved is just black. Is there some other code that I should be implementing for XP?

I have a program in which a user enters a sentence in English into a text box, then the sentence is translated into French and German based on words in an array of structures that gets its values from a text file. I have almost all of the program written, but I am a bit confused on how to get VB to get the English words that are entered into the text box separately so they can be translated individually and the value returned. i am in need of some help getting my code working correctly like i am needing it to. I have finally got my code all working, but there is just a quick query really. At the moment I have all the database stuff in each form seperatly. When I place it in a global module, it looks like the dataset is being duplicated I was wondering why this happens when I place it in a global module?

i have an assignemnt in my visual basic express 2008 class, were i have to type in an image name, like paris.jpeg,and automatically manipulate the file to be called paris-steg.png. Once this happens i click the manipulate image button and the image should be altered so that paris-steg.png has a message hidden in it. Then i have to decode that message. At this point im having troubel getting the file name to automatically appear as paris-steg.jpeg, and you will proabbly see why with my code. I need to know how to do this. I am creating a save function for my program and need to save information from different form into the same line of text in a text document. I have to get the date (from vb), the persons name (on frrmDataCollection.tbName) and their BMI (its calculated on frrmDataCollection from a button so i dunno how to do this bit). I then need to put it in a text document on my hard drive (C:BMICalculator). Here is the code that I have got at the moment 1st for the conversion and 2nd for the save function.

I was using 2 forms, the first one has general data capture and the second one is a calendar form. On Form1 I have mulitple windows controls. A Textb ox and beside a Calendar button. When I click on a Calendar Command button, it should open calendar form and once the user selects the date, the date should be placed in the text box on the form1. Identical to this on Form1 I need multiple textboxes that needs date to be captured.I cannot use a global variable for this as I need to validate mulitple text boxes. To explain this, I have a Transaction Date and Date Received. I need to validate whether Transaction date is prior Date Received or not? I dont want to use several global variables b'coz I might need multiple validations as above. Please help me on this.

I am having trouble getting the Student Name entered in the Student Name Form to change the Text titles of the GroupBox's on the Main Form and Schedule Form. I understand the logic of what needs to be done to some extent, but I am having trouble coming up with the correct coding.
Below is a snippet of the Student Name Form code that I tried most recently just to see if I could get any change to happen to the other 2 Forms when the Accept Name button was clicked. As of yet, I cannot get a change to happen at all in the groupboxes of the other Forms.[code...]

I'm making a front end to dvdauthor.I have a picturebox which holds the menu background. In order to draw a textbutton on the background image I store the image in a hidden picturebox. So the text doesn't get drawn to the visible background.

I have a form used to display records read from a dB. The record fields are displayed in textboxes to allow editing. When the form loads, it reads all records from the table and loads the first record to the form - very straighforward. I set the Textbox.Readonly = True after loading the data. I have an "Edit" button that sets the value back to false so that editing can occur.
All fields display correctly apart from the first field textbox where there appears to be no text displayed. If I press the "Edit" button and set the cursor into the textbox and use the arrow key to move left, the text is there. In other words, the text is loaded to the textbox but somehow it is hidden. Now if I move to the next record the field information displays correctly. The problem only occurs when the form is first loaded and the first record is displayed.
Now for the strange part. If I delete that (first) textbox from the form and then re-create it, the weird behavior moves to the next textbox control and the first textbox behaves correctly. I have checked all the properties for the textboxes and made sure they are all the same. I have had this problem before and found the only way to overcome it was to regenerate the entire form again. Does anyone have any clues on what is going astray?
