I hoping to find a current and simple way to do this. I'm using VWD Express 2008 and SQL Express 2008.I'm able to get the client's path to the image file using an asp:FileUpload control on the web form.
How do I upload the client's image file and display it in the web form's image control?How do I save it to the sqlserver? The image table is already set up with a "Image" data type column. Can the image be saved to the database as simply as other data types?

But problem is that when Frm_Book_Search close and it must be focus in textbox but it not happend. when user close the frm_Book_Search form then not focus my application another software if open at that time it will be focus that software. if there is not open any software then it is not any problem it will be focus my application in my textbox. how can i write code to focus current form after close frm_Book_Search form.

I have a picturebox on a form and I am trying to upload a image to database. My question is how to fit a image into a picturebox even though the size of image is bigger or smaller than that. If It is bigger than the picturebox, then how to get a scrollbar.

What I have is a user control that has two RichTextBoxes. In the user control, there is RichTextBox1's TextChanged event, I want it to set RichTextBox2's Text to the same as RichTextBox1's Text, I'm currently using: RichTextBox2.Text = RichTextBox1.Text. I am pretty new at VB but am trying to design an application that will allow a user to select from files on his or her PC, hit a '>>' button, and those files will appear in a list on the right side of the button (so I can then have the application upload those files via ftp). I am planning to use a TreeView control to act as a file explorer in the application. I have been unable to find any resources on the internet to populate the tree view with the user's local file structure, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I have UC that inherits a textbox. It is meant to only accept numeric values. I want to be able to add a property to give the end user the choice of setting the FORETCOLOR to another color other than that which they have chosen for the normal FORETCOLOR settings. I have a textbox1 on form1 with a click evet that says textbox1.text= form2.txt(1).text but it gives an error (txt is not a member of form2). I tried disabling option explicit, option strick and option infer. Still won't work. My code is to long for this place maybe a short version osf the code. Do I need to make a Public MyArray(15,15,15,15) as string, in the Module1 then copy txt(n).text to the array or is there a way to access txt(n).

In order to take advantage of the spell checking ability of WPF textboxes, I have added one to a user control (with the use of elementhost). This user control is used in various window forms. My current problem is trying to handle keyup events from this textbox but the windows form is unable to "get" any event from the control. I can access the properties of the textbox just fine (i.e. text, length, etc.) but keyboard events don't seem to work.I have found, however, that the following will bring back events from the WPF textbox:

The user control is now able to do something after the PreviewKeyUp event is fired in the WPF textbox. Now, I'm not completely sure how to have the window form containing this user control to work with this.
