Right now i have the following code. it is 4 radio buttons that if selected will display the price of a ticket.
There is a button called "repeat offender" that should take the price and double it. so me, being new to visual basic, were thinking of trying an if statement such as If it is selected decTicketTotal * 2
But this did not work. any help would be appreciated.. just trying to get the repeat offender selection working so when it calculates the price will double.

i have problem multiplying total minutes of user login with price. for example, my price for 10 minutes is 100. if user A start login at 9.00 am and logout at 10.00 am, that means he spends 60 minutes using the computer. how to multiply 60 minutes with 100 (my price) so that i could get the correct price and update the data to my database?

Okay so I need some help with radio buttons. Basically what I am looking to do is make an "If...Then" statement but it needs to know which radio buttons were selected to finish the "then" part of the statement. What code would I use to do this?I don't really want a spoiler, more of an explanation of how it actually works also.

I have a basic math test program, and 2 forms to allow the user to choose which function to test on.
The first form has a list of radio buttons with the 4 basic math functions and a button to load the next form.The second form contains this code on Load..

frmOptions has 4 radio buttons, addition is default chosen.After selecting one, the user clicks a button to open frmTest.The above code runs upon first load to change a label to reflect what was chosen on frmOption above.
On step 3, the label on frmTest that is supposed to be changed based on the Checked radio button from frmOption never changes. It doesn't even change on the first load of the form, so I think something is wrong with the Checked property of the radio buttons.

I need help in finding out if there is a more efficient way of writing my code. The code below is a list of radio buttons all of which have different values for example
radiobutton1 has a value of 1
radiobutton25 has a value of 20
the values are stored in a variable called 'count'
the 'count' is incremented by the ammount from the radio button clicked.
Is there a way the radio buttons can be compressed into a for loop and if so how can i still access thier each values.

I have 1 project with about 7 forms. On each form I have 6 x 4 responses radio buttons (i.e. a multiple choice quiz). If the correct response is selected, the examinee gets 1 point, else 0. At the end of the quiz, the examinee can click a button that will add up all the correct responses & display the % correct. I started this tutorial on sub procedures and am having trouble trying to get this program to execute properly. The problem lies with the total. I am trying to figure out the math part of it. When I hit F5 I can see this

Fries

But I can't get them to add up and display the quantity and price. I tried the ByVal and ByRef code but am not sure if I did it right

I'm new to VB.NET BTW. I designed a form and radio buttons and a submit button with a picture box ! Every radio button selected will display the image related to it in the picture box !
So, we have

When pressing the submit, the selected radio button will display a face of the mood !

trying to write a simple form for calculating professor's salaries depending on their degree and position.my problem is that the when i select a check box, the value is not being updated until i select a different radio button. it probably doesn't make much sense here,

My VB application is behaving strangley. I have form with fairly large number of controls. I am using case against radio buttons. after curtain number of buttons, it stops responding to more radio buttons.
Then I tried to split controls in to 2 form but now my form.showdialog() too now working properly. It takes new from names but show the old form when running.

I loaded up a checkedListBox with items form a .txt file. The .txt file has itemName, ItemPrice. Every item that gets checked shows up in a listBox on another form. The problem that I am having though is that I need to accumulate the itemPrices of the selected items to show up in a textBox, but the only price that shows up is the price of the item in the checkedListBox that has the focus. So I have an issue with have displayed names in a listbox and trying to write a code to have a hidden price value for it. I want the selected name in the be put into another listbox as a display name and have the price value of it be in a holding value to calculate an equation.I just need help declaring the name with a value in the list box.
