Generating Single And DTMF

I'm working on a project that will generate single and DTMF tones through the sound card. What I would like to do is send three single tones at specific levels and duration by toggle a button click (2175 @ 0DBm 120ms, 1950 @ -10DBm 40ms, 2175 @ -20DBm) is only one of a few. I would also like to generate DTMF tones as well.I've look at several code samples on line how to at least generate a tone.My question is can I use FFT to calculate the amplitude and set the 0, -10, and -20 levels? Also, how can I generate the single and DTMF tones?

Say I have a code with 3 methods that do some pretty intensive work. Would executing these methods on 3 seperate threads be faster then executing them one after the other on a single core cpu? And what if it's a dual core or HT?

I am trying to make a list, separated by a comma, of entries from a single column in a SQL database. I have been spending the last several days searching for a way to do this, but every thing I found either didn't work, or wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
The query will pull all the email address that are not null. What I need to know is how to take the result of that query and make it look like this:
email0@address.com, email1@address.com, email2@address.com, etc, etc, ...
I feel like I should know this, but for the life of me, I can't remember nor can I find it in any of the textbooks I have.
I am using Visual Basic 2010 and SQL Server 2005. I also have access to Visual Basic 2005 if needed.

I use SqlParameters when executing database statements. I know that I can replace a single quote with two single quotes... but in the past SqlParameters took care of this for me. I have two projects.. in one, the SqlParameter does this and it handles single quotes fine, in another, it does not and I'm at a loss why (I even copied and pasted the code):

I am trying to update a row or a single cell in ms access through vb.net. But when i update the text box named NRIC, say for example i want to update "s4522147B" to "tr4521856C" and mean while leaving the other fields the same.
But the thing is when i make the changes in nric.text (textbox), the dataset actually updates the whole column in the table instead of the selected textbox.

I have a few problems i need to solve. Firstly, I am looking for a piece of code i can use to display a picture from a bank of pictures. It will work on the basis of generating a random number and loading a picture that corresponds to that number.
i.e. Dim RandNumber As Integer

Secondly, can I then use subsequent picture boxes to display pictures from the same bank of images, without displaying the same image? Finally, I then need to be able to click the picture or a button beneath the picture to select it as an answer to a question and then the whole process starts again.

For this I am using CreateKey = String.Format("{0:" & sFormat & "}", strKey), but it gives the result as "PPKG6B8ZPG79U05R".

I have a rather odd thing happening with an Excel WorkSheet that I am creating through .Net.I load up an existing workbook
Dim _xlApp As New Excel.Application
Dim _xlWorkbook As Excel.WokBook = _xlApp.Workbooks.Open(_templateFileName)
set it to be visible before populating it (for debugging purposes)
_xlApp.Visible = True
I then go on to populate the existing template.

When i set a breakpoint on the "Private Sub Gen.." line, and step through the code line by line, it inserts a new column for each variable declared, so in this case it will insert two columns before it even hits the "If MyBooleanValue()..." line (I can watch it actually happen due to the Excel app being visible). However, if i dont set a breakpoint and just let the code run straight through this doesnt happen.There is no multi threading happening or anything else that i suspect would have any impact on the code.

I am writing an application in which we have a Product Module, Now instead of defining individual products, we want to just state the Size Ranges in Width, height and different size scale available, and then automatically generate a list of products with all the Size combinations. I cant figure how to do this.Ill give an example.This is how we define a product

If i had a fixed number of Size types i would just run For loops within for loops and inside the inner most for loop write an Add Item statement with Index of evry selected item, however since the Size types are dynamic, i need to write a recursive loop, and i just cant figure how to.

My task is to develop a Control library (VB 2005) in which u enter a variable in textbox (>=1 , <=5). Lets say you enter "3" then u have too see in table all combinations of boolean numbers for 3bits (000, 001, 010 .....etc). If you enter "4" the table have to be different (0000,0001,....etc) with 16 combinations.

I have a following controls in my vb.net form:

This form will be storing a values to the SQL Database (SQL Server 2005). In the txtID textbox the auto id should be generated when ever user clicks on btnAddNew. The ID should be generated in for digit i.e. 0000, 0001,0002, .... and so on.
When the form is opened next time and when the user adds the new record, the ID should generate next value coz the ID will not be duplicated.

I am currently working on a project for a client to organize company forms easier
Here is what I need the program to do:
1.Have an input box where the name of an image can be posted. (This image will be copied over to the website, but not from this program, a standard FTP client will be used for that)
2. When the 'Generate' button is clicked, a .html page will be generated which is completely empty (Except for tags and such, which is required) and code to embed the name of the image (from step 1)
So this way the 2 files (HTML and Image) can be uploaded to the server, and made live relatively quickly. There is a flash application that auto-updates that displays the avaliable forms that has been made, but it is a pain to do it, and plus, it wastes time from the IT guy's jobs where as with this program, the receptionist could do it, as she handles the forms.
