There is a situation in which I require the text from the "iFrames". I am using webbrowser control to automate but I am unable to find the particular document wherein I can locate my desired data. It is stored in "iFrames". Can anyone help me with "iFrames"?

I'm working on a Habbo easy-login client, but I can't hit submit for the love of god.. my code looks a bit like this:

it seems to me that the webbrowser.document.frames collection disappears in the webbrowser control how can i access the dom trees in frames now? i'm using VS2008

Sometimes one of them fits what I want, and sometimes the other fits what I really want... I still don't get StreamReader and StringReader and DocumentStreem and Document.body.innerhtml ... I hope somebody could explain please... because I am confused.

Now here comes the tricky part. I have a button on my 'child' pages (ie: Claims.aspx). I'd really really really like to have that button execute either:
1) Javascript from the 'parent' page
2) A VB function in the code-behind of the 'parent' page
Any way to do this? (and really, why do I suddenly feel like I'm working with VB 3.0?

View 2 RepliesI have multiple iframe items on a page (vb.net based application), in particular, one is a frame that holds links that generate the details frame. Currently the javascript is working for IE but when used in any other browser it does not work correctly. Here is the line that is causing this errorwindow.parent.detailFrame.location.href = form + "?cat=" + cat + "&par=" + par + "&HighlightID=" + HighlightID;I can tell this line is incorrect in firefox because when placing alerts in the function after this line, they do not fire, but they do in IE. can anyone see what needs to be done for this to work in both firefox and IE?

So, I'm trying to make a spiffy little program that lets you search for flash games, and it will automatically display the flash game within the program. (by writing document text to a webbrowser control) Unfortunately, the site I use to get the games from uses iFrames from Custom Google Search to house the search results. I know how to deal with frames in a webbrowser (WebBrowser1.document.window.frames("frame name here").document.so on and so forth), however it seems as though iFrames are different. When I try
WebBrowser1.document.window.frames("googleSearchFrame")
, it doesn't recognize that it's there. Same thing if I replace the name with the index of the frame - it's not there. Using

I have an aspx page which houses an iframe. When a button is clicked, a WCF is called to produce a PDF which is read into a byte array. I was storing the byte array in a Globals.vb file like this:

The global was loaded from the parent aspx page like this:
PDF_Data = MyWCF.Create_PDF_File(SomeVariable)
After that, the iFrame's src was set to a blank aspx page, which had the following code in the page_load event:

However, realizing that this application will have several users who will get different PDF documents, I have learned that this is not the way to go. I have loaded "ShowFrames.php" onto my WebBrowser1 control and it loads both of the frames onto the webbrowser control. Now my question is, how can I get the source of either of the iframes WITHOUT loading that frame by itself? For instance, when you load 2 frames on a screen in Firefox, it lets you right click on it, and select "This Frame" > "View Source" so you can view the sources separately. Can anyone tell me how I can duplicate this and put the source in variable strSource? I know that to get source code for a page, you need this WebBrowser1.Document.Body.InnerHtml But I dont know where to go from there in order to get a specific iframe's source.
I want to make an application that takes values & innerhtml from some elements on a webpage i made. For that i added a webbrowser to the project, and pointed it to navigate to my localhost server where i have some pages. I want it to open in my browser, not Internet Explorer.I have read everything I have found on this subject, but it is all for normal web browsers. convert the code to be used in a browser with tabcontrol? I tried, and it works with one that DOESN'T use it, but I want to use it with my browser with tabcontrol. And, I have read ALL of the ones previously given to other people.
I've just finished making a web browser suited for my personal use, but when I click on a new link or something it opens a new window in Internet Explorer - which gets extremely anoying.. Is there a way to make all links open up in a custom browser?

I coded a web browser over the course of a year called Nova - very advanced with tabbed browsing, bookmarks, homepage, history, etc etc etc etc. I could go on all day about how advanced it is. But.. there is one flaw. You cannot make it the default browser; I don't know the code!I already know the CommandLineArgs stuff so it actually opens the HTML file rather than just opening the program; in fact, I already can make files open with Nova completely. It's just the other stuff - you know, when a website is to be opened from a help file or something, it opens with Nova, Windows recognises it as the default browser, stuff like that.

The first being that I have a textbox for my address bar and I want it to do a few things, I want it to expand when i set my browser to fullscreen , be able to press enter when typing in it and it will take me to that webpage and for it to show recent history... (i know it seems like a ton of expectations mainly i would like the first 2 the third is not as important) So i dont know how to do any of that...
I also would like to know how to go about making new tabs on demand and not have a bunch of tabs just sitting there...
last question how do i go about making new windows not just for browser windows but, making something like firefoxes options window.. not necisarily to do that but just to make i guess another form pop up...
