How can I get Visual Basic to open another form using code? I have attempted to google the solution several times and never found anything that works.
Also, do VB forms share variables? Is there any way for one form to send data to another form?
I'm try on Ultimate version and Express version. Reinstall many time from web install and offline install. What should I do ?

How can I make sure that everytime I press on the button, A.exe will only open once, and does not open a new form each time?

I'd like to make it easier to use at Design time by putting a link of some sort to open the User Control at design time. Each store also fills out a deposit slip manually and faxes a copy of the clip to the home office. I want to combine these two programs.I tried by creating a new project and adding these two project to it.That works except as I make changes to the screens and codes it modifies the original programs.I don't want this.How can I combine these two projects (code and screens) into one and save it with a different name? I have a date selector on mdi parent that updates a property when date is changed. When I open a child form, it grabs the property just fine. However if I change the date again after the child is open the date does not change on the child unless I close and reopen the form as expected. What would be the best way to automatically update all open child forms when the date is changed on the parent at anytime? running a timer to parse the date property is impractical.

This was a guess, after looking at the Form.ShowDialog method in reflector.My question is, is there a managed call I can make to acheive the same result, and what does a button click do that other clicks don't?
ETA: The problem does not occur if I open the form using a key.
