I'm developing an application in VB.Net (VS2008) which allows the creation of classroom layouts. The layout is a panel and has child panels (seat objects) the seats are then populated using drag and drop and show a preview of the person sitting there.
I would like to export this panel to a printable format such as jpeg, pdf etc.I have tried using the CopyFromScreen but I can't get this to only output the layout panel. (some of the panel could be off the screen at the time of export)I have also considered using HTML outputting each seat as an absolutely positioned div container. Then printing the HTML page.
all this in datalist as you can see so it will be repeated..i have put one image in it now i want call a method when any image will be clicked i make one sub called s() in vb i want to call it i use on clientclick() event but doesn't work
I've used this feature in dev-c++ in the past, i exported my code as html and it retained its colour for string, commands etc. i want to duplicate this in visual studio 2k8, how do i export my code as html so that the colours of the text remain and regions can be collapsed or expanded
Im currently programming a HTML export for one of my applications.I've just realised i coded the whole export to work with firefox and now when I load it in explorer its not justifying my <DIV> tags the same as in firefox.
My questions are should i recode the export to work with explorer ?or should i state firefox is required for the export to HTML to work correctly ?is there a tag to add a page/line break in between my divs ?
I am a newbie in the asp.net world.I have any asp.net application where I get data from a stored procedure in a datatable.I would like to populate the data in an HTML table and then export it to excel.
Unfortunately these have to be done the long winded way (each column individually), since the data is modified based on user login credentials, before it is exported to excel. [code]...
I'm doing the first bit of web-page development I've done in years, in VS2008, using VB.net. I have a fairly simple layout, which is using several nested tables. IE6 displays the layout just fine, but Firefox for some reason shows the whole thing in a small panel at the top of the page, with a scrollbar.
I'm trying to make a label control transparent over a Panel control. However by setting the background colour of the label to Transparent, it actually sees right through to the form itself, not the panel as intended.
As an example we use a panel with a background as white, we make the label transparent, however it gets the forms colour as blue. However, we are using a custom panel control and need the label to be transparent over the panel and not see the forms background.
I've got a Panel on a main Form containing a PictureBox control on Top of a TableLayout control. Both the child controls have their docking properties set to Top. The Picture control has sizemode set to Zoom.
What I'm finding is that the picture doesn't size properly when I start the app. There is a border at the top and bottom in the PictureBox control. It's only when I resize the overall form that it's correct.
So at the moment I've got this ugly bit of startup code, just to fix the problem Me.WindowState = FormWindowState.Normal Me.WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized
is it possible to make it so that you can use a button control to initate a drag movemnt of a panel control, that way you can click it move your mouse and when you click your mouse it will move the panel to what ever location you moved and clicked your mouse?
I'd like to verify if an image control has an image loaded . If it does , I want to unload that image (and load no image) , but if the image control has no image loaded , I want to load an image . Is it possible ?
If ImageMY.Image.Equals(Nothing) Then ImageMY.Image = System.Drawing.Image.FromFile("C:ImageBlaBlaBla.jpg") Else

me if it's possible to have a control (e.g. a picturebox) in one panel of the splitcontainer control, and then be able to drag the control in runtime to the other panel?
I'm developing a standalone application. The purpose of it is to have no installation necessary. I'm trying to keep it as small as possible, and everything contained in the actual program, so that the user can let it sit right on their desktop. I wanted to make it possible to generate an image, preferably something transparent (.png, .gif) of a certain dimension, and export it to a certain folder. I've explored Bitmap library, but I've yet to come up with a successful solution. I'd be very obliged if someone could point me in the correct direction. Here's my current code:
Dim myPNG = New System.Drawing.Bitmap(fileName:="logo.png") myPNG.SetResolution(xDpi:=100, yDpi:=20) myPNG.MakeTransparent() 'creates transparency myPNG.Save("C:logo.png")
This project, i m trying to draw a rectangle when mouse enter form1, and when i increase the hscrollbar value, the rectangle extends downward.
My question is how to keep the extended rectangle stay on panel1, when i minimize the form or have other windows cover it for a while, the image is not extended rectangle anymore!
I'm trying to let the user import an image in my windows application, in any pixelformat, but i need to save the image in 16bpp4444 format, and that is not an option for pixelformat in .Net imaging class.
I need to center the red panel in the middle of the dark grey panel, when you resize the form the red panel should be in the middle, and the red panel can't be resize, anyone have a code or property to do this?
I am manipulating oval objects in a panel on a form, i.e. size, color, location, etc., using trackbars. After each change, I want to put all pixels in the panel into an array for sending to a slave display. Is there an easy, straightforward way to do this other than getpixel?
if this is the case. What I'm trying to do:1) have a way to save / copy screenshot from an Air app2) automatically paste such screenshot into a new powerpoint slide in the current presentation
I've got a panel in windows forms (Visual Studio 2008) which has a background image (A book shelf). When scrolling the image flickers and does not redraw so looks awfully - I've tried creating a new object to use double buffering but this has no effect,
i have developed a windows application whose interface has multiple picture boxes panels with background images for rich look and also a usercontrol which contains a gridview and WPF scrollbar in an element host. All these controls are placed in one panel (this is also having a background image) which is equal to the size of windows form. The reason for placing all these controls in the panel is that the window can be resized, if needed, allowing scrollbars.
Due to these large number of controls in which some of them have transparent backgrounds loaded in a large panel having background image, the window is flickering when moved or any other application's window is moved over it.
I have a picturebox inside a panel with scroll bars.
I can zoom in or out the image in the picturebox by changing the PictureBox.Size, and the scrollbars update automatically.
How do I convert coordinates in pixel returned by the PictureBox.MouseMove event into image coordinates when the scrollbars value is not zero and the PictureBox.Size is not the original?
