Record AVI Video Of An Animation In A VB Application?
Apr 18, 2010I have a program that reads and displays a file as an annimation and I want the user to be able to turn it into and AVI (or other video format). I certainly know there are Screen Capture programs that will captured the video from the screen, but I
have seen an app that creates the video in the background. The user selects the file, and without sending anything to the screen it creates the video.
how this done or where to start? Or if there is an addon app that will do this?
Running Animation As A Background Process?
Nov 10, 2010I am working on a project and i have come to designing my splash screen... i dont want a useless one what just shows a loading bar what does nothing, im trying to make it useful and show while the main form is loading however this is proving to be a pain in the backside.. i can make the splash screen load when the exe is executed then close when the form is ready but i want to add an animation to the form (just a moving logo) this is just done by me running an timer what changes the location at each tick.. i can get it to work well on its own but when i add frmMain.show() to the code to load the program the animation will not work... i only get this when i ask the program to load the main form..

Sep 21, 2010I m developing an application in vb 2008, and using background worker to copy file(s). I have my own designed form which plays an animationon on the top of the form along with copy. For playing animation i m using "AxMSComCtl2.AxAnimation", on execution i get

This is so that the animation has time to play and stop and then the rest of the code will display the other picture and the numbers. Is this possible? I tried timer and sleep but I cant get them to work.

Dec 15, 2011I have written a code from which using a web camera one can record a video and save it onto the HDD but now according to a client requirement he needs to play that video and capture still images from the video and save it onto a picture box's and here is where i am having issues.
1)when i use windows media player to play the recorded video i don how to capture the image from the video by triggering an event
2) also i need to know if i can play the video on picturebox tool(i tried using the winmm.lib and Mci but it din work out for me)

How do I set it so it shows the video in the background, when I put the png image over the top of the video?

The problem is the code fail to retrieve the image from clipboard? What I'm trying to do is connect to a webcam, then save the video stream file on this webcam as bitmap file before transfer to the client side as an array of bytes.
