I want the affected application no to have the title bar.. you know, with the app name, the mini, grow, and X button.

The height of the titlebar depends on what OS the user is using so I'm having trouble because I can't give a definite value for this. How do I detect the height. and also for border i'm not sure if the borders have different widths with different operating systems. I am trying to write a media player using the wmplib.dll for playback. Everything is working but I found a one problem I can't find an answer to. How do you find the songs duration before actually playing the song? the code I am using is below.

As for now I have in my browser something like:
