I created a .NET application that reports to a log file the contents of a registry key. My code works perfectly but it is choking on one of the string values found in the registry. The code that works normally is below.

I get this error when clicking on any of the letter buttons in my repeater. The sql statement I have works in sql server, but on my page it just errors out. The only thing that is different is that in sql server I change '@CompanyID' to an actual ID and '{0}' to 'a' so the query will run. All the posts I have found online with this problem say something about this-->{0}, but I don't see anywhere that I might be trying to pass more than one argument or have this wrong.[code]

The user will imput a number value then a - then some words after that. I just want the number value. But when I try to debug the app it breaks on this line of code with this error. Argument 'Length' must be greater or equal to zero.
In my decryption statement I am getting

I disabled an exception because it was bugging me i couldnt find an intermittent error. My program reads textmessages from a phone, however a problem sometimes arises, and I am slowly pinpointing the areas of the code that cause issues. I have found however that it is sometimes here:

check to see if length is zero AND thereofre try again in a moment, (because it usually works second time for some reason). I can think how to get around the exception

Suppose you have list 1 (ilist1) and list 2 (ilist2) both lists have 3 items.
At index 0 item1 which has text "-- Select --"
At index 1 item2 which has text "Yes"
At index 2 item3 which has text "No"
Both lists have identical items. I would like to know if it is possible to have the selection of list one be "Yes" and the selection of list two be "No" and vice versa using SelectedIndexChanged or something of the sort.

I have a datagridview, with 3 columns, each containing dropdown filters (in the column header). when I click the Open button a file is opened and its items are sorted alphabetically. to do this I have doubled the size of my list. However, when I click the button again to reopen the same file, the items will ADD ON to the previous open-file event even though I have this piece of lstListboxTwo.Items.Clear()(the correct thing is to clear the previous items and add the new ones)So I think this has to do with the new size of my list..I think that I have to set the list size back to its normal size when re-clicking on the button.
