I need to visually moves the cursor using keyboard keys.
1) I need to get the mouse to where the button is
2) Simulate the mouse movement to the button from whereever it is
3) and simulate a button click.
Only after I select a button I can start drawing on my form. I have a code here, when I hold the Ctrl key and press the arrow keys, the mouse will start drawing straight lines. But what happen when I need to use controls like buttons, comboboxes etc.?

Apologies as this has probably been answered a million different times a million different ways already. I'm trying to control the mouse. I wish to move the mouse to a given pixel position (x, y) and cause a click. I don't want this to be limited within a form, as I want to control another application. I'm using VB 2005.

I'm trying to simulate a mouse click at a given set of coordinates on the screen. This is not to click on a form in my application, but rather to serve as a button press in another application I have no control over.(The jerks didn't put hotkeys in there so I'm trying to make my own...I've got the hotkey code down, but now I'd like to make it call a sub that forces a mouse click at X, Y coordinates..

After reading a few things on google, is there a way to just go to x,y from within the form, not the whole window display itslef? I have some functions i found online. I have a series of buttons that I am handling with a single method (Button_Click). I use the sender.tag to determine which button was clicked. I want to simulate clicking btn3 with a Timer. So when Timer1 triggers, I want it to trigger the Button_click method, but indicate that btn9 was clicked.
I have:
Private Sub Button_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btn1.Click, btn2.Click, btn3.Click

In the Timer_Tick method I would Call the Button_Click method, but what do I used for the sender and eventargs?

I am starting to develop a card game client for a CCG a friend of mine and I are creating.
I have 2 forms Client.vb and Hand.vb linked with a module.vb
In essence when the app starts up I see the client. I can then click the "Hand" button and the Hand Window is shown as well.
What my goal is is to have it so that when i hover over the card (picturebox) in my hand form that it displays a larger image of that card in the preview box (Another picture box) In Client.vb
I have everything working except when i actually mouse over the image in the hand form it creates an error:
Error:A first chance exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in CCG 2.0.exe
The code in the mouse hover event:

I have a button and inside my button I have an image control. When the users click on the image I'd like to animate the button so it appears the button was pressed. I don't really care whether the actual button press event fires or not--it's the illusion of a button press I want to see. The only options I see on the web involve writing directly to the Windows API--a level of complexity and non-upgradability I really don't want to get into.

I need code for getting the Submit button to click on this website.url...i checked the page source and have been able to get the username/password to enter on my Webbrowser. However, I cannot figure out how to grab the Submit button and simulate a click.I managed a work around in which I set the focus on the "password" element and used SendKeys to send ENTER, however I don't want to use this method.

I'm trying to bring up a simple right-click menu on a listbox and I'm having little luck with it. I created a basic ContextMenuStrip named "ContextMenuStrip1" and I'm trying to call it in the ListBox's Mouse Click method:

So here's what it's actually doing. The right mouse button doesn't seem to activate MouseClick at all for this object. It is caught in MouseDown, but when I try to call this from that method, the ListBox Index doesn't change. How can I get a right-click to be called from the MouseClick (Not imperative) and how do I get the ListBox to change the index with a right-click?Also, the menu looks like one of Office's right-click menu that can have an image to the left of the text. When I don't have an image the text is about 50 pxls or so away from the left edge. This looks weird. Can I change that?

I am new to VB.NET, Now i'm working with Events in VB.NET, I have two event methods, Mouse Click and Mouse Down for a single button in a form, I have displyed a message in each of these methods but only mouse down event is triggered. Why Mouse Click is not triggered? Similiarly I Did the same for Mouse Enter and Mouse Move for a particular button, in this case both the events are triggered.

In a application i'm working on i need to be able to select a graphic (a line to be specific) and then i need to change or move it but i cant find how to add a click event to the line when a draw it. Basicly i want to click on the line to select it (make it fatter or an other color) and then be able to alter it in position and size (lenght). Is there any way or what is the correct way to do this?

I have been trying to discover how to make the contents of a form expand or retract in response to moving its borders by grabbing them with the mouse, or by use of the 'Maximise' or 'Restore Down' controls.The explanation in �Help� concerning TableLayoutPanel, Panel, Anchor and Auto size doesn�t help much, especially as it I can�t get it to work.
