MSChart Spline Graph - Lines Are Choppy And Not Smooth After Adding Points?

I am adding data points to a MSChart spline type graph, and the graph that is displayed after I am finished adding the data points is very choppy and not like a proper spline curved graph. It's more step-like than flowing. if I manually add data points to each series I can create a very smooth and flowing spline type graph. Here is the code that I am using to add the points:

Is there a step that I am missing or a parameter that needs to be set for the spline type graphs for this issue not to occur?

I have a database with testmarks of - lets say 30 students. I would like to print a distribution chart using Mschart. The values will be loaded into an array ChartData(30) The distribution chart X-axsis should range from 0 - 100 and the Y-axsis 0 to the average amount.... hopes it makes sence....

I am designing a game, in which you have to connect some lines, these lines are defined by the beginning and end points. I would like them to wave, yet always keeping the edges on the two points, also, when you connect 2 lines, I would like them to appear to be one continuous line, which contains the beginning, end, and the point of connection between the lines. To do this I've tried bezier curves, with a random point, always changing, but I noticed that bezier curves only works to 4 points, and the line does not always passes through the points themselves...

I am working on a program where specific strings are being read from a file and displayed in a listview. Some of the strings represent money values though the file has no decimal points. I would like to add a decimal point before the last 2 digits of prices, quantities, and freights when displayed in the listview (not add two decimal places but actually insert the decimal point into the string). I would like to be able to keep most of the code I already have though, and I have no clue how to accomplish this. Here is the code I am using to fill the listview:

look at this picture of my index form. It's resized, now you can't see the full labels text.
Example: under the first cover, there stands "Hardbass Chapter" and accetly it is "Hardbass Chapter
21 (2011)". It's not a problem that a peace cut off, but, I want to make that clear to the users,

A chart element with the name '0' could not be found in the 'ChartAreaCollection'.i also tried using ChartAreas(Default") but i am getting same idea.I don't get what for this chartAreas value in parenthesis is used.

When I populate a combobox with items that have a line and text drawn in the DrawItem event, only the line image for the first item in the list appears in the drop down portion of the combobox. The other items (index>0) shown in the drop down portion of the combobox do not contain an image of the line, yet each item in the list does contain the designated text. The correct line image does appear when the user selects an item and the drop down portion of the combobox is not visible. How can I get the line image to appear in every item of the combobox when the drop down list is activated?

I have a datagridview bound to a datatable and i want to add a line to it. I cannot add al ine to the dgv, because it is bound so i add the line to the datatable using Me.BurdensCRMDataSet.dtlines.Rows.Add() however this seems to add two rows - let me explain a little further: A dgv always seems to have what i would call a 'blank next' row, a blank row at the end of the dgv, which as soon as the user populates with data another blank row appears after that - maintaining this 'blank next' row provides a simple and easy way for users to keep manually adding data to a dgv
This also seems to work fine when the dgv is bound to a datatable, an empty dgv would have 1 row (the 'blank next' row) and the datatable would have 0 rows, each time the user populates the 'blank next' in the dgv it is added to the datatable and a 'blank next row is added to the dgv, so the dgv now has 2 rows and the datatable has 1 - and so on and so forth However, I cannot programatically populate this 'blank next' row on the datatable, because it doesn't exist yet in the datatable, only in the dgv and if I programatically populate it in the dgv it isn't added to the datatable and a 'blank next' row isn't added to the dgv

I am building an app that builds a bunch of cardinal splines by storing their PointF structures in arrays. As the program runs, new points are added to the arrays, and the graphics are drawn to a bitmap. I can let it run for ages and the splines just keep growing like they should with no problems. The amount of points in each spline can grow into the thousands. To speed up execution as time progresses, I don't completely redraw the splines after each pass, I simply draw the last segment of the spline to the bitmap, having let the bitmap 'record' the earlier part of the splines.
But if I pan across the scene or zoom in/out of it, then I DO have to completely redraw the splines, since the size and resolution of the display is limited to its dimensions. Panning works, no problem. But if I zoom in and out of the bitmap with the mouse wheel, after about 14 wheel clicks, I get an "Out of Memory" error. BUT...I have it set up so that whenever the mouse wheel turns, the graphics and the bitmap are disposed so that new ones can be built for the new zoom setting. So why would the program run out of memory when as far as I can tell, I am disposing of all my unused, unmanaged resources on a regular basis?

I'm binding the value of a Slider to an integer property that represents the volume on a networked device. This network request takes a little time (usually <100 ms), and somehow causes the Slider to feel choppy.Here's my oversimplified code to clarify:

Binding to the PlaybackVolume property will cause the setter to fire while still dragging the thumb. Because of the network latency issue, the slider is locked for however many miliseconds it takes for the request to complete.

I tried to skin my application and failed. I can get it to work if I don�t have semi transparent pixels on the outside of my form. But I want to use a skin I found on Deviant art that was made for Miranda. It is really nice but and it has a shadow around it. To get it to work in vb.net (I�m using 2005 btw) I have to fill around the main picture and take out the initializing (I think that is what it is called). But then the form�s edges are choppy. How does Miranda allow the shadows but I can�t in vb.net?
I first tried to do it the easy way. I set up some transparent panels with transparent pictureboxes in them and put my corners and middle fills as the backgrounds. I made the form with no border and set the transparent key to transparent. That didn�t work, so I made the form magenta and the transparent key magenta. The outside of the for where the shadow is was drawn on the magenta and the magenta bled through. So I edited the png�s to be magenta all around the form (eliminating the shadows) and it worked, but the corners were choppy.
Then tried some code I found on the net that tried to make a new control as a transparent panel. It was overriding the paint events and drawing to an off screen bitmap. I really didn't understand it and it just showed up as a blank screen. There has to be a way to do this.

I have a line of data that represent a data import. When the import is done, I would like to keep that exsisiting line, and add another line for the next import. So I have a display of mulitiple lines, showing multiple Imports.So this is one I have for the first section, it loops through the data so you see the rows incrementing

Now, I can I keep the line of data, and add a new line so for the next import, it does the same thing. It ried vbnewline, but it just clears that line, it doesn't move down to a next line.

I've been searching for days. I can't find anything that I think is going to work. I've probably read the answer and skipped it because I don't get it. I'm new. I've researched multithreading, sub routines and webbrowser. The webbrowser thing doesn't seem professional to me.
All I want is the animation to be smooth when it's displayed and to have it integrated into the app so it's not called from the local drive.The animated gif is in PictureBox3. Please point me in the right direction. I really don't want to use a static image.

I have a form with a listbox. I'm adding items to the listbox through a file that I saved. When I open the file, I want each line/string in the file to go in as a separate item in the listbox. I've gotten it to work so far but only with 1 string. I need to loop the part where the file is being read to be able to add all the strings that are within the file to the listbox. How do I do this?
