1. How to have a checkbox on this Column header, which on checking must check all the rows in the DGV and vice versa?

As you can see I was playing with WithEvents but that didn't seem to help. In the above code all I was trying to get was some kind of reaction to the clicking of a checkbox - but nothing happens (no errors, either).
From what I read it is a good convention to name a method that returns a boolean value with the prefix of "is" or "has". So in keeping with this convention I am trying to name a method in my program with this prefix but I am running Specifically I have a class called Day. It is a simple class with a few data members and one method that returns a boolean value of true or false. The name of the boolean variable is isSpecialDay. This class has a method called isSpecialDay which takes the date of the day, applies some criteria to the date and then sets the variable isSpecialDay to true or false. My problem is that the boolean variable is named isSpecialDay and so it the method. What should I do?

In the TBL_EVENTS can each scenario have an unlimited number of so called Events like risks.The TBL_EVENT_DATA Table stores now for each day and for each event in a scenario the value min and max.I would like to edit a scenario with its events (! not an single) in a GridView Control. Is this possible? I would like to have the rows as days and the columns (2columns for one event) as min max value for the events. So is it possibel, when i have 5 events, have these in 10 columns (2 columns for each event [min] and [max] and then the days as rows?
View 4 RepliesI have a data table, i want to add a new column on that table, the data in that new column will depend in the data from another column. Now i can think of two ways to accomplish this, first is loop through the whole table and do the statements to get my new columns appropriate data. the second approach would be to give the new column an expression, then convert the table to xml (to remove the expression) then convert the xml string back to datatable.
Now, is there any other way around this? what could be the most optimized way in solving this task?
All I want to do is build some kind of table-like or grid-like control in my form that has two columns. An element in the first column should be a checkbox that is changable by the user, and an element in the second column is some un-editable text. I need to display an two-column editable grid not bound to a database. I took a look at ListView with Mode=Details, but it appears that only cells in the first column can be edited. I then took a look at DataGridView, and am having two issues:
1. When editing a cell, it adds a new row: [url] How can I prevent this?
2. I don't like the grey background and would like the grid to fill the whole space, right and below.
