Make An Array In A Loop Change Picture Box Locations?

I have made a For next loop with an array. I want all my picture boxes to follow each other within the loop. I have currently been using old code, but not in a loop or array format. The old code works. The array code only makes the 2nd picture box follow the FIRST one. It doesn't loop the rest. I have checked the code and cannot determine any mistakes, else I'm missing out on something I haven't been taught.[code]...

I have created this code to reset my picture boxes to default locations upon form load.

I have this sub load up upon form_load event. Yet it doesn't do a thing! I want each picture box to appear on the same row, hence the y axis is set to 49. but I want my X-axis to be added by 30, so that there is a gap of 30 pixels between each picture box, hence the x point is: Xlocation = Xlocation + 30

So I made a simple patform game where the player has to jump quickly while the platforms move to the bottom of the screen, as to not touch the bottom of the screen. But, I need to know how to create a loop to loop the locations of the platform. This means that after twenty or so platforms, the same platforms come up again, so that the player will have an "endless" game. I am looping through a database with pdf locations. The application is button click event driven. The problem I am having is that I display a pdf. If the user clicks on the button then the pdf information is inserted into a database and the loop should be taking me to the next pdf. However, this loop does not seem to give what I need. What ends up happening is the first pdf gets displayed twice. I think mainly because I display the first pdf onload, but when I click the button it agrees and grabs the first item from the database. And it ends up falling behind because its restarting the query and I cant quite figure out how to get the button to catch the first displayed pdf, or skip it entirely since I am using a welcome pdf. So on the welcome pdf that is supposed to be displayed initially the user clicks agree and it agrees to the welcome pdf instead of just skipping it. I am not quite sure how to just move past the pdf.

Now if I run the code without the loop it works fine. I just end up having to run the app however many pdfs I have in my database.

To display pdfs I imported the com control for adobe so pdfs get displayed like this:
axacropdf1.src = my.mysettings.default.readpath & pdflocation
pdflocation is passed from a query fill.
I think I have an underlying design issue which probably precedes the loop.

I am writing an app to be a single button failover of a set of mirrored SQL servers. The app has to handle several other functions (enable/disable and start/stop of services, writing to local registry, copying files from server A to server B, initiating stored procedures, etc.)I have a collection of labels that indicate the status of 4 services on 2 servers, I wrote a function to check the services when passed the machine name, and the service name. Originally I just called the function 8 times (4 services, 2 machines) and populated the labels 'manually'. I have all of this within a timer so that the service status is refreshed every couple seconds. Id like to clean up the code to a single for/next loop that operates on 2 arrays (an array of service names, and an array of labels) such as:
'**Fetch_Status is the function that gets service status, it accepts 2 strings, machine name
'**and service name and returns status "running", "Stopped", as my_status
Dim Services() As String = {"Service1", "Service2", "Service3", etc.}

The only reason I want the control array is to be able to use the .Text and .BackColor properties of the labels in the loop. If I make an array of strings with the label names it doesnt seem to pick that up.

I am able to get the lines to change their locations, but the dragHandle rectangles won't update - they stay at their starting locations. I would have thought since the points list changed the updateLinehandles() would fix it.

I am using Vb 2010 I am trying to make a matching game. My problem is I have picture boxes 16 to be exact. I want each one to randomly go to a certain place I have already picked on the form. That means that I have 16 places already picked and I have made point variables for all 16. I can not seam to randomize the picture boxes to be placed in only those 16 locations.

I have VS 2008 and use VB, not C#/C++ or whatever else. I'm trying to make a battleship game, and I've decided to use the only method I can think of to control the grid. A 2D boolean array for position marking. I have the array set up, and the grid set up in the design form, but I can't figure out with all my research how to link them together. I'm writing this program to shake off the rust before school starts again, and for fun. I took VB in school last year, a half year class, so I have a foundation, now I'm self-educating myself above and beyond the class. I've searched for a way to use a picture box array to use the coordinates of the ship to .Visible=True the picture boxes. I've been working on this for 2 days straight with no results. I just need a little nudge in the right direction. The exception I've been getting with my latest concoction of code is NullReferenceException was Unhandled. I think its referring to the fact that I have no idea how to link the picture boxes into the array. Here's my code, and I'll comment where the exception is thrown:

A few years ago I have been busy creating this application but it didn't succeed, now Im coming back to it and similar problems occur. Basically I use SetPixel on a given window to draw a line, work fine, but the line goes away as the window redraws itself.The problem: I have been putting timers and threads on it to make sure the line is being drawn. Is there any way to make a loop to make a certain thing happen about 10-30 times without taking in too much memory/CPU?

I need an indexed set of picture boxes. The number, n, of these objects is determined at run-time.Migrating from VB6!! I had used the load command n times to create a control array from a "seed" picture box. In code the individual pictureboxes are accessed as formula(k), where formula was the name of the control array and k is an integer.
