Form With A Tab Control That Has 18 Pages - Click On A Tab It Opens The Page And Select A Textbox On That Page
Mar 8, 2009I have a form with a Tab Control that has 18 pages. When I click on a tab it opens the page and select a textbox on that page (txtTextbox1. Select() ). This works for the first 8 pages but not for the remaining 10 pages. Although on these pages I can mouse click on the textbox, enter info, save then click my Add button that clears the textboxes and has the code (txtTextbox1. Select() ). The textbox is selected just fine. The code for all my pages is the same except for the tab name and the control names. The tab key will move the selection to the next textbox in order on all pages and the Enter key is coded to do the same. The first 8 pages have a total of 256 labels, buttons, list boxes, textboxes and checkboxes on them.

Though I am using a webbrowser control at present but I want to remotely login without opening any browser nor a webbrowser control.Now I could hide the webbrowser control but then I wont know whether the site loading operation was successful or not (in case the site was down or so) Is there a function or a value that is returned after successfully loading a website via which I could check (without opening anything) whether my operation was successful or not

Make Sure The Webpage Fully Loads Before Executing A Sendkeys Routine Or A Mouse Click Event?
Jul 8, 2009First, I launch a website in Internet Explorer from VB.net and automatically login the user with ther username and password. As soon as the username and password fields are automated, I send "enter" to the website so it goes to the next website. This part works perfectly. However, my problem is that i want to send a mouse click event, which i have already written, to click a hyperlink on the next website page. I tried a few different things, none of which worked. My program is automatically logging in the user and doing the mouse click event at the same time. I have tried to use the "sleep" command, but the mouse click event is still not executing after the second webpage loads. I have tried using nesting "If, then" statements and that has not worked either. Does anyone know how to make sure the webpage fully loads before executing a sendkeys routine or a mouse click event? This is my code thus far:

There are no errors, everything is just executing all at once instead of letting the second webpage load and then executing the mouse click event.

User Can Click A Button That Opens Up A Rtb With Every Single Word ?
Nov 13, 2010I have a Search form where the user can click a Button that opens up a rtb with every single word (12,800+) used in the King James Bible. Every word is Capitalized ("Thankful, Grateful", etc), so in my code, the user selects a word, then right-clicks and sends the word to the TextBoxSearch in lowercase. Now, if the RTBDisplay (where all search results go) is empty, then a msgbox pops up asking if the user would like to re-search the same word in Uppercase. If they click OK then the word in the TextBoxSearch (lets says: "thankful") is supposed to become "Thankful". But instead, the TextBoxSearch goes blank. I have tried many variations of code, and here is my latest (doesn't work):
