Make Web Browser Auto-fill In User Name Field In Webpage Window On Load?
Dec 3, 2009
I have some values in the registry to set the user name, I also have a web browser, How would i make the web browser auto fill in the user name field in the web page window on load?
I am creating a form for work where managers can report when they find a customer's personal information laying around on a desk (we work at a call center where agents answer calls for a wireless cell phone provider, so we take personal information security very seriously). Anyway, I am wondering if there is a way to have a text box autofill with that manager's windows username (since they will need to be logged into their own profile to use the form).
I am trying to load a webpage into a web browser control that has a login form on it. What I am wondering is how I would go about changing the username/password input values on that page thru program code. The html element ids are "username" and "password" respectively. I am using vb 2008. I have tried searching but am getting mixed results with asp.net which is not what I want.
I have WebBrowser1 and this code on a button: WebBrowser1.Navigate(URLBox.Text) That all works fine and I can enter text and go to the webpage. How do I:
1. Check for when the page has finished loading?
2. Auto populate 2 fields on the webpage and click login?
I am using a IE browser in my application with IE8 installed. When i right on a link and open with new window, new window is opened but the page is not loaded. But the address is shown in the new window url box and when i click enter in the url box, then page is loaded. I didn't see this issue in IE7. I face this when i using IE8 in WinXP or Win 7
I can create them using Ctrl+T(webbrowser controls and all) but after that I don't have any idea on how to control them(let's say I select the 5 tab and I don't know how to make that web browser control to navigate to a given webpage). I was thinking of creating an array of webbrowsers but I don;t know how that works.
I just need to know how to make my web browser auto fit on a screen. I sent my friend my web browser and he said the browser GO button was all the way to the right and he cannot reach it because it is passed the screen of his computer

I would like a textbox to auto-size when the form is maximized and minamized. Like Internet Explorer when the address bar gets shorter and longer when you resize the window. I think the code so far is[code]...
I have a form with a webbrowser control on it, and I load up a local file in it with some code for a rotating banner (so I can support my app with advertising). The problem I'm having is, it is for example, a banner ad in the small banner sized control, when the user click's it, it loads the new page within the same control, which is way too small.I'd like for any click in the control to load up the link in IE itself, outside of my app. Putting target=_blank so far hasn't helped. Below is the code that I am loading up in my control.

<!--//
I am in the making of creating a database desktop application using VB.NET. I want my UI to have similiarity the same as Microsoft Money. By this, now I want to make all my textbox to behave this way :
flat will have no border, or if it's still if the mouse hover on it, the border will get emphasized. That's all.I recognize that in TextButton, we have FlatAppearance, so we can tweak all Button to behave like this. But the same is not happened for TextField.
The specific features I want to produce is it doesn't place on the form, it places in the little box at the bottom and when CustomUserControl.Show() is called it shows as a dialog boxI'm sorry if I misspelled something or my grammar is wrong, I've never done well in those subjects.
I have been searching a lot online but couldn't find a solution for my problem. I want it to refresh every certain interval of time without this message to display. Now Ican't minimize my program because I'm putting an automatic Sendkeys.send("{Enter}") after the refresh to get rid of that message by clicking on "Retry".And If I minimize it the Enter will be executed on the active Window, which might be any other Window.
I hope that you understand what I mean, If not, I will clarify more.
I am creating a webbrowser with Visual Basic, and I have finished everything but this: When I click on an external link, (I.E. On a photo, or on youtube) it opens up in a new IE window. I want it to open in my browser, not Internet Explorer.I have read everything I have found on this subject, but it is all for normal web browsers. I want to do this for a tabbed web browser, not one without tabs. Basicly, I want to use this code with my tabbed web browser that uses tab control.
Private Sub WebBrowser1_NewWindow(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.ComponentModel.CancelEventArgs) Handles WebBrowser1.NewWindow
[code]....
convert the code to be used in a browser with tabcontrol? I tried, and it works with one that DOESN'T use it, but I want to use it with my browser with tabcontrol. And, I have read ALL of the ones previously given to other people.
I'm making a program running on background that monitors users button click on a specific program, I need to know where this person is clicking. Is there a way to make a virtual map (not visible to the user) of the window this person is looking at and clicking? I need know where this person is clicking so I can take a specific action and show a result to another monitor output.
I'm trying to fill a webpage in using GetElementById
Basically, the problem I'm having is that there are two textboxes that have the same name, and because of the way GetElementById works, it inputs the first textbox instead of the second (Which I'm trying to input)
just looking for more information really as tutorials on the net seem to be lacking on this one. What would you use to fill out a form on a web page automatically? what syntax?
Choose a topic (the best that fits) Arts & Design Books, Poetry & Writing Business & Work
auto filling data into webpages. I need to write a server side application mostly a console host app that makes some queries to the SQL Server database and gets a list of lets say students and their grades. There is a third party website that gets updated at the moment some peoples working and filling that data manually.
I need to write a program that will basically open that webpage, login if required, navigate to certain page, click on certain tab, fill the data and hit the submit button. I don't think this part is that hard but the trouble comes with a client side dialog box. At the moment there is a client side dialogbox that shows up when you hit the submit button confirming the action and I need to press OK on that automatically.
I am allowed to write a windows application if not a console application and also use the web browser control to load the webpage rather than opening and interacting with the browser. If this makes it easier than so be it.
Using Visaul Basic 2010; the program auto fills a web page displayed in the WebBrowser container on the form (with the value contained within TextBox2) as follows:
What reference is needed to to replace 'WebBrowser1' so that the Current browser window can be accessed, be it IE or Firefox, so that the same could be achieved?
I am new to visual basic 2008 and am trying to navigate to a web site and automatically enter my username and password from within a visual basic program. Then I want to navigate to another page and fill data in various fields on the page.
I am making this program that has a loop that goes to a website and fills in a form within the loop. But first, here is my code thus far
Dim message As String = TextBox3.Text Dim loopnumber As Integer = TextBox4.Text 'makes the necessary variables Dim browser As New WebBrowser Dim url As String [Code] .....
But what happens is that the loop runs a few times then it errors on the setattribute line (line 19 above) with NullRefrenceException was unhandled And I have a feeling that it is not loading the page fully before it tries to fill in the form.
I am trying to use the Web Browser control in my vb .net user control. I am using VS 2008. Finally, I will be calling my assembly (.dll) from a web page. I wanted to display the usercontrol with the web browser control inside this web page. The problem is I cannot proceed since the Web browser control cannot be called from a partially trusted assembly. Using VS 2008 I have created a strong name for my class, also added the <Assembly: AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers()> to the AssemblyInfo. But still the web browser control cannot be seen in my web page. Do you how I can make my assembly fully trusted so that it can access web browser control? If you have used web browser control, can you confirm if this step is really required?!
I have this picture to be more clear:My idea is when I paste (ctrl+v) for example this number :4111111111111111it would automatically paste them in textboxes one by one in order!
so txtBox1 will contain : 4111 txtBox2 : 1111 txtBox3 : 1111
