Manipulate UTorrent - Write Upload / Download Rate To TXT File?

uTorrent is a p2p program which handles torrents as most people know. What I want to do is:
Write the total amount of Upload rate to a txt file (updated every second).
Write the total amount of Download rate to a txt file (updated every second).
This is done on a server, which writes the files to a shared folder. And on my computer, I will make a program that reads from these files every second. So instead of me having to use the Remote Desktop Connection to see if it's going anywere. I want to view the speed from my computer. So the problem starts at the first task, how to manipulate programs.

I have an issue where I need to load a fixed-length file. Process some of the fields, generate a few others, and finally output a new file. The difficult part is that the file is of part numbers and some of the products are superceded by other products (which can also be superceded). What I need to do is follow the superceded trail to get information I need to replace some of the fields in the row I am looking at. So how can I best handle about 200000 lines from a file and the need to move up and down within the given products? I thought about using a collection to hold the data or a dataset, but I just don't think this is the right way.[code]....

I like to upload an file in my project. when I click the upload button the file should be stored in client system and the file name and path should be stored in the database. When I clicking the download button it should be downloaded based on the file name and path that I have stored in the database. After making the changes it should be uploaded as different file name and it will not affect the previous file content.

I am creating a windows service in C# .net. In the service i have a FileSystemWatcher that checks a directory (which is in my dropbox) for the create event for files. No problems so far. The idea is that I watch for the creation of torrent files. Then when a torrent file is created in that directory, I want to add it to uTorrent and start the download.The windows service, file system watcher, no problem at all. how to add the torrent to uTorrent (or an other torrent client), or, how to download the torrent in C#?

Reading a .txt file in VB.net. My file path is C:UsersMyLilMulePepeDocumentsVisual Studio 2008Projectscurtain_calls.txt.

I can read the file when I run the program, but how do I write the file path so that someone else can download my program and file and read the file on their system?

I'm trying to write a vb.net program that will upload a file to a FTP site that has SSL (explicit, although I'm not sure what this means).The sample code and explanations I've Googled always assume when it's SSL that I'm using a client certificate. But I have no certificate to load.I simply need to login, accept their certificate and upload my file.When I accept their certificate am I actually installing it on the client? For example of FileZilla a box pops up and I just click on accept, then my login is complete.

I know there is a lot of forums out there regarding this, but I haven't been able to find what I need and I am somewhat new to this. I would like the simple openfiledialog code button click to attach a word document or PDF and upload it to a SQL server table to be saved. I would like to use my current datasets and controls without creating another SQL query within my project as I have seen in other forums, unless that is the only method. I know that the data needs to be saved as an image type with the file name and extension but I just need the code for this. I would then like to download the doc or pdf to view it within a form.

I am making a windows form and through this form i want my users to upload and download files stored in a Directory on a machine running windows 2003.Could anyone please tell me the best and secure way to share files on a directory for users to Upload and download and "without letting the users to know the actual path"..User Clicks on a Button and it will automatically download the files from server.User Clicks on another Button and it will automatically upload the files to server.The file name and paths will be taken from labels which are hidden on my form so the user doesn't need to specify anything..I have 3 Options and looking forward to some expert opinion on this.
