Move From 2005 To 2008?

I do have a application created by VB.net 2005 and the version is 1.0.0.70.
I'd like to migrate the application to VB.Net 2008 in order to use the chart function which 2005 does not have.
This is what I am going to do.
1. Open Visual Studio 2008 for Visual Basic
2. Open a file for the application
3. It will try to backup current file and convert to 2008 from 2005.
4. The project version is still 1.0.0.70.
Can I deploy this project from 1.0.0.71 on same folder that I used with 2005 or Shoud I deployee as a new project as 1.0.0.1 on different location?

What does this error mean? I havent modified anything in the designer code, but its giving me an error? WithEvents variable 'Move' conflicts with event 'Move' in the base class 'Control' and should be declared 'Shadows'. I was having a problem with my vb.net 2005 program.. It was installed in a VPN and i access it my home.. it has a backend database of MS Access (more than 20 tables & 20 queries)the problem, is when I'm using the program for 4hours and above, it is taking slow or sometime it cause my PC to hang or I can't move my mouse anyway..

I have a MTB with the mask "00 / 00 / 00",
now when the user fills the mask, say he enters the value for the first two zeros(days part), after that i want the cursor to be automatically at the third zero. (yes the cursor automatically move when the user enters the next input, but i want it to move before the user enters the input)

I used a picturebox to allow user draw lines by mouse. I used this code in mouse down:

but when a window appear on front of picturebox... its seams that picturebox redraw itself, so drawn lines erased.

Trying to move from an Access MDB file to an SQLExpress(2005) MDF file and getting lots of problems. I have model my MDF file Like my Access MDB file ,same file name,same number of columns, same columns property,same columns name, see out of the 13 columns 8 have default value, I think I am getting a syntax problem when inserting the data into the table, being new to SQL Express I don't know how to write the proper SQl syntax

VB 2005 Express Visual BasicI want to move (part of) projects to different projects/ computer.I used File - export template- and was able to save templates of whole project or item(s).They saved nicely in a subdirectory called "templates" as zip files.How do I import to 1/ other project on same pc?2/ To a different computer?I tried copy zip files into corresponding folder on new system. I am trying to run a nested loop; it should call a result from a MDB database. Which it does, when I run the single loop it goes thru all of the entries. But when I try to get a number to display twice it stops on the second entry. Having it display the number twice is just a test to make sure it does work, I am going to modify it after I can prove the loop works. The count on the Message Box is correct, but the number displayed is wrong?I want it to display each number twice and then move on to the next number. [code]

How can I get the file NAME from the OpenFileDialog and make the Browse folder dialog to have the File NAME at the end of the folder destination?
1. I press "Browse for File"
2. I press "Browse for Folder"
3. After the directory for Browse for folder is shown, it will also include the file name taken from "Browse for file". I dont want it to replace the destination, but to add the File NAME to the folder destination.For example
"Browse for File" gives me the destination, C:Documents and SettingsOwnerDesktopFile.txt
"Browse for Folder" gives me C:Documents and SettingsOwnerDesktopNew Folder (3)
I want the File.txt text COPIED from "Browse for File" and PASTED on to the Destination of "Browse for Folder"
