The line in code is giving me problems it is preventing me from searching the first part of the array but if I move it to the end or to any other spot the search wont work.

Ok this is what I'm stuck on:I have 2 ListBoxes and 2 Lists, let's call them ListBox1, ListBox2, List1 and List2.List1 needs to be associated with ListBox 1, and List2 with ListBox2 I loop through a bunch of accounts, add them to LixBox1 at run-time.During that loop I add each account number to List1 so now the account number is associated with the ListBox index number which is right.Now when I double click one of the accounts in ListBox1 it is added to ListBox2 (but it still remains in ListBox1), and the same index of List1 added to List 2, now the account in ListBox2 is associated with the account number at the same index in List2 you see where I'm going with this?The issue wtarts here.When I double click an account (let's say the account at the first index) in ListBox2 it should be removed from the list, so now I remove the index from List2 since it's no longer needed, but now you know what's happened right? ListBox2's List indexes have all decremented by 1 because I just removed an item from the beginning of the list, but List2's indexes have stayed the same (at least that's how it appeared when I tested it).
So basically whats the best method for keeping things in reference? I was told about list boxes in another thread of mine, but is it really the best way to go about this, I can't seem to keep everything linked together reliably.

I am trying to take a database with multiple entries of 11 digit numbers and run a check sum algorithm that adds the 12th digit to the 11 digits as an output.The algorithm is as follows:
Add sum of odd digits starting with first digit, then multiply by 3.
Add sum of even digits, then add to result of odd digits multiplied by 3.
Take result and divide by 10. The remainder is the check sum which needs to be added to the end of the original 11 digits.

So the flow of Numbers for the month of August is as under:

The flow of program is that onClick of a button GenNextNumber a search is executed and the highest number in the table is shown in a Messagebox and on OK the nextnumber is displayed in CustomerNumberTextBox by adding 1 to the last highext number. The programme is running fine for one month. The problem I am facing at the start of next month. At the start of Month September the first number will be
010909+01 = 1090901
Now when I try to generat next number the highest number is shown as 31080901 :
Obviously because 31080901 > 1090901
But i want that the next number should be
010909+02 = 1090902
Should I change the Date format as MMddYY so that it will display the highest number with reference to highest month.

I am trying to do a search on a index/row number taken from a dataview i.e. I enter 379437 in the input box which I know has a index/row number of 6. Now when I replace the Rows(index) with a Rows(6) I get the results that I want. When I run the code below the index comes out as 75 which displays the first row from the dataset which is a completely different set of results.

I'm currently developing an app which essentially needs a way for me to search in a text box or file for a specific string, and extract the line on which that string appears on. It will be unique, and the syntax is the same on each line. It has basically 2 ID numbers, and is laid out like this:
123456|123456
So, I'd need to search for the first part before the |, and then get the line so I can get the bit after the |, which is the important bit for me.
