Setting Input Box Values After Invoking Click Event On Webpage Buttons

I have some code that broadly looks like the following ...
WebBrowser1.Document.All("btn_submit").InvokeMember("click")
WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("select").Item("id_pickupdate").SetAttribute("value", "2011-07-07")
I cannot seem to get it to work in one code routine. I end up having to have a separate button to set the date after the page has loaded. I have tried all the blog posts using isbusy, timer etc but it does not seem to work. The code breaks and the error prompt says that id_pickupdate does not exist.

I am writing an windows application in VB.Net to automate the internet explorer using Visual Studio 2005.There is a website with list of orders. I need to accept the orders automatically whenever they arrive.There are 2 pages in a websiteand they will refresh at regular intervals. In the first page there is a list of elements in a grid with Accept and Decline buttons. I have to click on Accept button. Then next page loads with some text contents and a Check box and a Submit button. I need to check check box and click on the button automatically.

I am creating a bot ( for personal use ) to automate posting to my website . I have used the webbrowser control and i have managed to send data to the webform using the follwing code :

Im trying to create a diary system that on click event of the built in calander in vb.net opens the current diary entry for that day. i am using the my.settings variables to store the entrys the problems i am having is how to create a my.settings variable automaticly if one dosnt exist for that date (will be using the date of the clicked day as the name e.g. 10/5/2011)
So basicly i want the user to be able to click through the dates on the calander and the entry be displayed in a text box next to it, blank if nothing is there and the user can edit/save them after just need the code to auto create and i guess how to search the my.settings im quite new to using this storage, i normally use text files. the pic shows the program so far, it has one diary entry but it has no relation to the date. the label is linked to the calander also , displaying the selected date.

First, I launch a website in Internet Explorer from VB.net and automatically login the user with ther username and password. As soon as the username and password fields are automated, I send "enter" to the website so it goes to the next website. This part works perfectly. However, my problem is that i want to send a mouse click event, which i have already written, to click a hyperlink on the next website page. I tried a few different things, none of which worked. My program is automatically logging in the user and doing the mouse click event at the same time. I have tried to use the "sleep" command, but the mouse click event is still not executing after the second webpage loads. I have tried using nesting "If, then" statements and that has not worked either. Does anyone know how to make sure the webpage fully loads before executing a sendkeys routine or a mouse click event? This is my code thus far:

There are no errors, everything is just executing all at once instead of letting the second webpage load and then executing the mouse click event.

I'm calling a asp.net web page in a winform webbrowser control.The webbrowser is being used to take the user information and submit it the database, creating an item On the winform I have a submit button that invokes ("click")

If I look at the webpage source, the hidden value is populated with an value. I think posting the value on to another page will fix my issue, but I want to avoid doing that.

I am attempting to fill the zip code through on Target Mobile Find in Store and click the GO button. However the button does not have an ID when I look at the HTML. I am able to fill the zipcode text box using:
WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementById("zipcode").Inn erText = txtZip.Text
but I cannot figure out how to click the button. I've tried using sendkeys.send("{enter}") but that doesnt seem to do anything.How can I either send the enter key after filling the zipcode or click the button?

I'm trying to create a version of the game Spill and Spell. I'm having problems with a click event for Labels that is supposed to exchange the .Text value stored from the previous mouse click with the current .Text value on the new Label clicked. The labels are initialized and stored in an array on the form load.
What's happening is that the values are remaining persistent to the label being clicked.
Desired Results (example):
User clicks on lblDice1 (sender), tempLetter is set to mouseLetter.CurrentLetter, mouseLetter.CurrentLetter is set to lblDice1.Text (sender.text), lblDice1.Text is set to tempLetter. (this part works)
User clicks on lblDice2 (sender), tempLetter is set to mouseLetter.CurrentLetter (s/b initial .Text value from lblDice1 above), mouseLetter.CurrentLetter is set to lblDice2.Text (sender.text), lblDice2.Text is set to tempLetter.
What's Happening:
The tempLetter and CurrentLetter values are remaining persistent to the Label being clicked on. Ie: lblDice1 click will only display the original text associated. If I click Dice1 then Dice2 and then Dice1 again, the original Dice1 text is displayed (same for Dice2).
This is a lot easier to see. All of the controls with the exception of a button ("btnStart") are defined in the code below. Click the Start button to show values in the DiceLabels grid.
The area that's the problem is Public Sub DiceLabel_Click

I've been having a hard time trying to figure out why some values, which happen to be foreign keys, are not passing between my stored procedure and my code on a button click event. I keep receiving the error, "Procedure or Function 'sp_OrderTracking_Update_UpdateItem' expects parameter '@depotRefnbr', which was not supplied. This is happening on the line in red. As far as I can see, the @depotRefnbr is being given a value. It appears that other values, which are not foreign keys are passing fine. [Code]

I'm using VB.Net and SQL Server 2005.
I have two Listboxes that users can select multiple values. Selection Mode = Multiple.
Listbox1 has Customers
Listbox2 has Products
I would like users to select a Customer (single value) from Listbox1 and Products (Multiple values) from ListBox2 I need to insert the selected values into the database like this:

I have a masterpage with a very long outline on my website. Is it possible to use a button to Goto a specific section of this outline? I've read thru Iceplug's tutorial on control arrays and got it working. I tried to add a new event by basically copying his click event code and calling it a doubleclick event. I used the proper addhandler and assigned the correct name to my sub. I have the click event changing the background color to blue and the doubleclick event changing the background color to green. The background color does not change to green. Why?

I have a dropdownlist that is being filled by an sqldatasource. What I need to do is set the dropdown choice of the user when returning to the page. So the ropdown will show the selection of the dropdown instead of the defaulted view when it first loads. I have tried the code below but I am getting an instance is not set to an object when returning to the page. I have this code in the page_load and in an if not postback.

I'm trying to assign some parameters for a stored procedure with some values that are stored in a data table. in the code, I can set the parameter values to the data table, and give a column header or index without issue, but when it tries to execute at runtime it bombs out.the error I get is a variation on "Failed to Convert Parameter Value from a DataColumn to a String" depending on exactly how I try to assign the value.the data types are all correct elsewhere in the code.

other things I've tried to get this to work are all variations on the .Value=dates bit, such as
.Value=dates(0) (so using column index)
.Value=dates.columns(0) (again using column index)
I've also tried declaring variables, and setting their values to the values in the columns, but the code returns an error saying that "Value of type 'System.Data.DataColumn' cannot be converted to string".I should point out that i'm doing this for 3 tables at once in this sub, 2 of them will only have a single row of data, but the third has an indeterminate number of rows.I'm afraid I don't know what else to do. I'm lead to believe by my mate and my lecturer that this should work, and of course it will work, but the evidence says otherwise.

I have 4 items in a ListBox and each item does a specific thing when it gets clicked on.But I also want the double click event to do the same thing as the click event.I can copy and paste all code from click event into double click event, but then you have lots of code crowding the code page doing the same thing. So what to do about this?
