I cannot seem to get it to work in one code routine. I end up having to have a separate button to set the date after the page has loaded. I have tried all the blog posts using isbusy, timer etc but it does not seem to work. The code breaks and the error prompt says that id_pickupdate does not exist.
I'm writting a program that will output the column headings of the database onto a form in a label along with a text box for the user to input their own information and a button to add a new record in the database. View 1 RepliesI am fairly new to VisualBasic .NET (2008). I'm creating an application that, when a number is entered into the textbox, a new form window is created and populated with buttons. Each button starts the same command, but with a different parameter (the parameter being the pertinent record number found by the search).'The records are asset tag numbers.The procedure works fine if there is only one result.But the search allows for partial numbers and that's where the trouble begins.If two or more results are found, each button is configured with the last number found. The button being clicked doesn't tally with the proper ID number.[code]
What I didn't count on was that the event is only called when a button is clicked. When buttons are made, they are not assigned at that time.I've had problems trying to carry over the (current value) for pcArray(i), hence having it populate that form3_text field. View 8 Replieshow to handle movement of buttons that are made in runtime. What my program does is writes the name of a button that is made in runtime, the left, and top cordinate into a textfile. When the user reopens the program it needs to load the button in the same spot. So far i have a streamreader reading the file in each line. There is a one sentence split by ",". View 2 RepliesFirst, I launch a website in Internet Explorer from VB.net and automatically login the user with ther username and password. As soon as the username and password fields are automated, I send "enter" to the website so it goes to the next website. This part works perfectly. However, my problem is that i want to send a mouse click event, which i have already written, to click a hyperlink on the next website page. I tried a few different things, none of which worked. My program is automatically logging in the user and doing the mouse click event at the same time. I have tried to use the "sleep" command, but the mouse click event is still not executing after the second webpage loads. I have tried using nesting "If, then" statements and that has not worked either. Does anyone know how to make sure the webpage fully loads before executing a sendkeys routine or a mouse click event? This is my code thus far:

There are no errors, everything is just executing all at once instead of letting the second webpage load and then executing the mouse click event.
How Do I Make Button.click Event Perform both the enter and period(del) keys on the numeric keypad? [Code] Case Keys.Enter and Case Keys.Separator do not work. Nor does anything like Keys.OEMPeriod for the period(del) key. I've also tried calling the enter key in a KeyPress event etc. But to no avail. Any ideas? I'm trying to mimic Windows calc.exe for a school project and thought I'd try throwing in a few extras such as numeric keypad functionality.
View 1 RepliesI've read thru Iceplug's tutorial on control arrays and got it working. I tried to add a new event by basically copying his click event code and calling it a doubleclick event. I used the proper addhandler and assigned the correct name to my sub. I have the click event changing the background color to blue and the doubleclick event changing the background color to green. The background color does not change to green. Why?
