Calander Click Event, Auto Creating A My.setting Variable

Im trying to create a diary system that on click event of the built in calander in vb.net opens the current diary entry for that day. i am using the my.settings variables to store the entrys the problems i am having is how to create a my.settings variable automaticly if one dosnt exist for that date (will be using the date of the clicked day as the name e.g. 10/5/2011)
So basicly i want the user to be able to click through the dates on the calander and the entry be displayed in a text box next to it, blank if nothing is there and the user can edit/save them after just need the code to auto create and i guess how to search the my.settings im quite new to using this storage, i normally use text files. the pic shows the program so far, it has one diary entry but it has no relation to the date. the label is linked to the calander also , displaying the selected date.

Now, i dont know how to add a click event in this button since it is a variable.

As mentioned in the subject. I found this default setting in VB 2010 rather annoying. For example:I have created an combox box and i have created an event as below as well

I have some code that broadly looks like the following ...

I cannot seem to get it to work in one code routine. I end up having to have a separate button to set the date after the page has loaded. I have tried all the blog posts using isbusy, timer etc but it does not seem to work. The code breaks and the error prompt says that id_pickupdate does not exist.

I have 2 listboxes on a form. Each listbox has a few items. As you know, I am able to have 1 item selected from each listbox, therefore making it 2 selected items from different listboxes.
I want to create a keyboard + mouse shortcut so I can de-select or change the selection mode of the listbox when Alt is held down and Left button on the mouse is clicked on the selected item. Here is the code that I wrote, which does not work.

I have an asp.net website to manage projects. I realized that when I click for the next project really fast and often it overrides all the next projects with the data of the first one. I call a method to save before to go for the next project. I use also a session variable for the id of the project.
EDIT: It looks like the sever stacks the save method and the ids but keeps the values of the first project in the controls this is the ajax that calls a server method to get the id and set it in an hidden field:

I am trying to write a program using Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition that will automaticlay generate multiple Command Buttons that have different Texts and perform different commands.For example I want to generate Button_1 and Button_2 where Button_1 when clicked enters the value "1" into a textbox and Button_2 enters the value "2" into the same textbox.I know this can be simple done by using the designer and wirting the code in the Button_1_Click, but what I want to eventually achieve is for various buttons to be generated across different Tabs in a TabControl.So far I can create a button on a windows form using code, but the button has no purpose so command is assigned to it. I am trying to code for is as follows: Construct a two dimensional array and enter into it a sales id number followed by twelve variables which represent sales totals made by the sales agent. this must provide space for five agents. I can declare the proper array and have done so as follows
Dim Sales (4,12) As Double. I also crafted a click event which will count from 1-12 (which excludes the sales id number) and disables the sales id number so it cannot get used. [Code]
What I am trying to do is setup a function within the same click event procedure which stores the current SalesAmount as a variable in the array and moves to the next slot to get ready to store the next SalesAmount. However I have no idea where to go from here. I have tried a ton of different pieces of code which are either all littered with errors or do not return a value when I call it. Calling the total of each row and the total for all rows is something I need to do for display and I am not one hundred percent sure I know how to do that either.

I've read thru Iceplug's tutorial on control arrays and got it working. I tried to add a new event by basically copying his click event code and calling it a doubleclick event. I used the proper addhandler and assigned the correct name to my sub. I have the click event changing the background color to blue and the doubleclick event changing the background color to green. The background color does not change to green. Why?

I am new to VB and am trying to get my webbrowser1 auto refresh on a web page every few seconds. Is there a way to program a button to do this? I am also trying to get the browser to auto select "yes" when a radio button is present and then auto click "yes" on a message box when it pops up. Any ideas where to start?

I have 4 items in a ListBox and each item does a specific thing when it gets clicked on.But I also want the double click event to do the same thing as the click event.I can copy and paste all code from click event into double click event, but then you have lots of code crowding the code page doing the same thing. So what to do about this?

I have to create a program where the user enters 2 numbers and the program outputs all the even and odd numbers between those 2 numbers.I have that part of the code complete. I have a vb.net application that uses Flash movies (AxShockwaveFlashObjects.AxShockwaveFlash). I have buttons in the flash movie. When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. But after a while (and I haven't been able to pin-point an exact thing that changes it or my issue would be solved), the user has to double-click on the button in the flash movie for them to work.

I want to create a server control that inherits System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button but gives it special capability, now what do i mean? i want my button to be a confiorm button that will work like so:
Renders to the page as a button of lets say cancel after the user clicks it i want to catch the click event (within the server control) and now after the click makeing the button not visible and makeing some kind of content placeholder (that will render from the server control) visible. that content place holder will have 2 buttons inside of it: yes and cancel. I want the programmer that adds this control to be able to register a function to the click event of the yes button. and the second cancel confirmation button should make the first button appear agian. (i know how to do this all in the client side but this time i need it all as server events)
My question is this: how do i catch the click event? i want it all to be handled inside the server control itself. so a programmer that adds this control wont have to worry about anything but just needs to register to the click event of the "yes" button.

Can i Know how to catch between these 2 event, Leave and Click?
I have one checking in a textbox Leave event. I will go check whether this ID is already exist in DB or not. If exist, I will prompt MSG box to user.
When I click on Close button while focus is on textbox, this textbox Leave Event will trigger first before Button Click event.
So, the form remains open without trigger Button Click event.
how to prevent this textbox leave event or how can i catch/control this situation?
