"Create a class called Invoice that a hardware store might use to represent an invoice for an item sold at the store. An Invoice should include four pieces of information as instance variables--a part number (type String), a part description (type String), a quantity of the item being purchased (type Integer) and a price per item (Type Integer). Your class should have a constructor that initialize for each of the four instance variables. Provide a property for each instance variable. If the quantity is not positive it should be set to zero. If the price per item is not positive it should be set to zero."
I attached the code I have. obj is underlined and says "Argument not specified for parameter 'Invoice4' of the 'Public Sub New (Invoice1 As Object, Invoice2 As Object, Invoice3 As Object, Invoice4 As Object)' and so the program won't run. What am I doing wrong?
Public Class Form1
Private Sub TextBox1_TextChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Dim obj1 As New Invoice(Val(TextBox1.Text)) TextBox1.Text &= obj1.Invoice1 & vbNewLine TextBox1.Text &= obj1.Invoice2 & vbNewLine TextBox1.Text &= obj1.Invoice3 & vbNewLine TextBox1.Text &= obj1.Invoice4 & vbNewLine

I have a combo box with "yes" and "no" with i select Yes i want the label2 to change the text to "yes" likewise with "no"
I've tried to code it in a logical way as possible but it just doesn't works except for the "wtf" so i think that overall my code is correct but the way i want to retrieve the selected item from combo box is wrong.
Public Class Form1 Dim aa As String Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
i have a combobox containing countries name and their codes like INDIA:CNT001 then i have a textbox that store the code of country i.e CNT001(fetching from database) Now i want to match that code with the combobox code so that the combobox is set to that item when i click a button. i m using vb.net and sql server as database.
my program downloads into a combobox every item(line) that is in a text file located on a server. Every line in the text file ends with "a)" or with "g)".
Now I just want to make 3 radio buttons:
- one that will allow the download in the combobox only the item ending with "g)" - one that will allow the download in the combobox only the item ending with "a)" - one that will allow the download in the combobox of both (I already know how to do).
How can I do so?
To download the entire list in the combobox I do:
Dim List As String = client.DownloadString("http://mywebsite.com/mytextfile.txt)Dim lines As String() = List.Split(New String() {ControlChars.CrLf}, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries)ComboBox1.Items.Clear() ComboBox1.Items.AddRange(lines)
I am new to vb.net and I am using visual studio 2010. I have two comboboxes on a form, each combobox is set to DropDownList so that a list of items can show in the combobox, but no text is allowed to be entered.
For combobox A, if user chooses item 1, the list of combobox B should be updated accordingly. I think this is quite common on a lot of applications. But I do not know to implement it. I even do not know the keyword to search for the relevant property or event handler.
i want to scroll with my mousewheel from first item back to last item and scroll then scroll more back.to scroll up from last to first i have with the folowing code but how to do it backward i dont know.

I'm reading "Programming with Microsoft Visual Basic 2008". At the end of each chapter there is excersize that I don't have the answers sheet for. Anyway, the first one is: A procedure needs to store an item's name and price (which may have decimal places). Write the appropriate Dim statements to declare the necessary procedure-level variables. What I have so far is: Dim "Candy" as String
I am creating combobox but ,I am able to add value in such a way documentcategory.Items.Add("Hi") But I want to add ID and value suppose ID is =1 and value="Hi" Then how can I add
What I need to do is simply copy all the values contained by column NumarMasina into Combobox1 of my Form. (i marked with red the values I need to copied into my combobox(combobox1 of my form) in fact there are 10 values I missed the last one. You can run the ddl provided below in sql server to see the output from my printscreen.
When I run the form in my combobox there are imported the values from NumarMasina column. (so this must be done in form_load callback it's sure).
Just need to import the values from column NumarMasina of table PatrimoniuMasini automatically into combobox1 when I start my application.[code]...
i think its hard to explain, but here we go.I have a combobox, where you should be able to add item (in this case colors/Hexcode selected from colordialog). So lets say we have 3 items in that combobox:and if you pick blue, the color blue should apper in a background color.I can only get names to work, but i cant find out how to store the hex value data.
I am coding a program that will allow the user to input 5 payrolls for Store 1, Store 2, and Store 3. The total of the 5 payrolls are then added together and shown in the respective Store's labels. A total label is also there to add up all the totals into one number. The numbers in the label must be in currency form. My problem is the numbers don't add correctly when I hit calculate. The first two numbers add together, but then after that the number just seems to subtract a random amount.
So far I have this --
Public Class Form1
Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click Me.Close() End Sub
I have a combobox that is bound to a dataset (via datatable and datatableAdapter). The combobox displays the current data in the table as it should.I have programmatically added the string "ADD..." to the list at the form.shown event:[code]when the user then click on (select) "ADD...", i open a new form to allow the user to add a new item to the list. The code i have behind the "ACCEPT" button on the new form stores the NEW value to the DATASET. I have verified this by previewing the data in the dataset. My problem is getting the combobox to reflect the changes to datatable to which it is bound.[code]
I 've got a ComboBox which users should be able to edit with an other form. The selected item should be edited when 'Console_Wijzigen_1' is closed, but is isn't.This is the code for the button on which the user clicks when he wants to edit the selected item in the combobox: [code]
