A procedure needs to store an item's name and price (which may have decimal places). Write the appropriate Dim statements to declare the necessary procedure-level variables.

Regarding my college project. i'm working on a sales system . i have a form which consist of all the following information( item code , item name , item price , quantity of item ) which is display using a data grid . data input by user using text box and all this information will be stored in a database(sales database) i'm using ms access 2007. the grand total will be displayed in a text box . and amount paid will be input in a text box too , my major problem now is how to i create a reciept that will have all this information of the purcase. i have a reciept button . what the next step ? i dont have any idea how to get the reciept done.

How someone would select an item from a list box and click a button and have that item go into another listbox with it's price? I seem to be stuck on this part.

I am writing a program that uses an array of structures to display a price in a label based on what item is selected in a list box(the data is stored in a text file). I am having trouble figuring out how to make the price corresponding with the item appear in the label. Currently, it just keeps showing the last price in the text file.

I am struggling to write the code for a calculation. The calculation I wish to do is to multiply the quantity of an item by the price. The problem is that the "form" i am creating uses a letter (i.e A, B, C etc) which corresponds to a set value. I do not know how to link the Letter to the corresponding value.
For Example, A= 25, B= 20, C=25
I want to calculate the total of 6 lots of A. I am also using a Combo Box to list the Letters.
I am currently using microsoft access 2007 and vb.net 2008. The problem senario is this: I have a database-table that contains two columns, items, and the price of each item. I tried to drag this table to the form as a checkbox tool, but only one checkbox1 was diplayed. The table consists of four rows. I have to create a program where you enter the description, price, and quantity of an item, then click on the Add button. It will then put the description, price, quantity, and total for that line (including tax) in a listbox. The tax is determined by what you put in a text box labeled tax:. When you press Submit Order, it should show a grand total in a text box called Grand Total. It should have a class that is called Items that has a function called GetTotalAmount() that figures out the total including tax. I have started it, but am having a tough time with how to get the subtotals into the text box, then also show the amount including the tax PLUS then do the grand total.

I am having some difficulty with an xPath expression. I am using an XML document to store queries / stored procedure names in an ASP application. I use a utility function to load the xmldocument (if it isn't previously loaded) and I am attempting to select the node set from the document that matches an Id element. [code] the node variable only returns the first element. I have verified the that the qry string that is used to SelectSingleNode IS the correct Id value (i.e. USER002) - however the node is getting loaded with the USER001 element. It is obviously the xPath expression that is messed up. What do I need to tweak on the xPath expression so that I can return the correct <Id> element and corresponding child <Sql> element.

View 2 RepliesI am coding a program that will allow the user to input 5 payrolls for Store 1, Store 2, and Store 3. The total of the 5 payrolls are then added together and shown in the respective Store's labels. A total label is also there to add up all the totals into one number. The numbers in the label must be in currency form. My problem is the numbers don't add correctly when I hit calculate. The first two numbers add together, but then after that the number just seems to subtract a random amount.

Here is the problem,however: if the text is more than 1 line, the list box does not show all the text.It ends up looking messy.So getting back to my question, is it possible to make the list box item height for an item depending on the amount of lines that item contains?This is a one line sentence in the list box and should take up one line.This is a multi line sentence in the list box and should take up two lines for item height.
