Mar 19, 2009I am trying to create my own title bar, but left-double-click does not maximize/restore the form; however, double-clicking any of the remaining buttons on my mouse (right, middle, 'forward', and 'back') maximizes/restore the form. This 'feature' is caused by MouseDown event. If the MouseDown event is removed,the DoubleClick event operates as expected.Can both events be used concurrently (at the same time) with out any loss of functionality?

I was thinking, which way is better: to copy the file into a specified directory and change its extension to none ("*. "). Either that or maybe I can save the file's binary code in an XML database. 2. How do I make it so a form cannot be resized by the user at all? ie. they can't drag the sides.

This works perfectly, but now I want the combobox to display the new (initial) value that is swapped, except than when I do that the cboAtt_SelectedIndexChanged event is triggered which results to an infinite loop --> crash.

VS 2005 Swapping Collection Members' Positions?
Jul 22, 2009This I'm almost certain is an easy problem for those with more experience than me. I just need a routine that trades the places of 2 members of a collection class.
For example: If there are 5 objects stored in a CList of() collection class, I want to swap item # 3 and #5 (or any pair of indexes), what would be the code?
This simple problem has my head spinning because once you remove a member all the indexes change.

Jun 7, 2010I have a working Windows Forms app (split into an EXE and a few DLLs). Now I've been asked to look at creating another app (MyAppLite) that has only a very small subset of the functionality. Think of it as similar to MS Word Viewer vs. MS Word.
Everything that I need to build MyAppLite is contained in the main solution - essentially I need to use a couple of the WinForms and whatever bits in the DLLs they call into.
What would be the best way to do this?
I was thinking of creating another Project in my solution for MyAppLite, then adding the necessary source files as links (using Add Existing Item > Add As Link in Solution Explorer).
I definitely wouldn't want to maintain 2 copies of the source code. FYI it's a .NET 2.0 VB app, using VS2008.

VS 2008 User Submitted Array - Swapping Arrays?

What is the best method to have the end user populate an array? I am doing this as a windows form. Have multiple text boxes that they have to fill out? Set the elements of the array to the text box values? And how to swap the contents at run time is something I am not sure of. Isn't there a Array Swap function or something?
