Now what i need is to convert System.Array to a Byte of 211. How would I accomplish this?

View 4 RepliesI'm trying to integrate a parental controls feature on my webbrowser. Now, the user creates a text file containing a list of the words they don't want their child searching. Here's an example of what would happen. The list looks like this (I wont use vulgar words):
dog
cat
baby
fish
tree
and the kid tries going to "treeandbabynectar.com". I want a messagebox to come up saying "Site blocked". I want it to be able to detect the tree and baby in treeandbabynectar and realize the text file contains the word tree and baby and block the site. Is this possible? How would I do this?
I need to insert a word after every X (i.e. 4,5,6 etc) sentences in given text. I feel regex would be compact and good solution. To be specific, I need to do this in .net. regex can't identify some sentences ending with not so common punctuation, I am fine with it. I don't need 100% accuracy)

I'm trying to write a function to find a word in a string in the this format : "ThisissometextthatIneedtofindandthisisthetext. This is another text."It's read as " This is some text that I need to find and this is the text. This is another text." but there is no space between each word. I want to get the word "text" or any word in that string. Can you help me with this function with a code sample ?
And I think that this method can be implemented with a string of Unicode also because in a sentence of Unicode it contains one or few, sometimes zero spaces between each word.

Can anyone please tell me how to find it?For example: I went to a school forEducation and then didn't study.I want words like forEducation. I think we use [a-z][A-Z] to find all alphabets but can't really find it. I am thinking along the lines of merging the above two options, but then how is it going to check for capital alphabets? The word may appear at the beginning, end or in the middle of a the text or sentence with in the text.
The expression I have been using word has been working fine however if the word included a special character (that has been escaped) it no longer works. The boundary is essential so that we do not pick up words such as vb.net as a match for .net.[code]...

Why? They are both effectively a function pointer (or delegate?) to a function that accept a string and return a string.
We know that VB string start and end with double quotes " "
So we have to use "" if we want " in VB string.
I wonder if there is a regular expression pattern which will match VB string?.

I can search for the word Love in an .rtf file and return every occurance of the word into a RichTextBox. It returns the word and the scripture the word is in, but it also isreturning a bunch of weird text like: archan78988yykp etc etc. How do I onlyreturn the scripture with the searchedword, in this case the searched word is love. The following code allows words to be added to a listbox. Add the word to a text file and create a folder with the word as its name. The second part undoes the actions.If I try to delete the word immediately after adding it one of two things happen.
1.An error is reported stating the path cannot be found. Although the listbox index value is correct according to the code the error is pointing at that index +1.
2.The code continues to the point of requesting conformation to delete the folder, still pointing at the index value +1. I the action is confirmed the wrong folder is deleted.
However if I stop debugging, then run the code again all works correctly.Is it likely to persist when the application is compiled?
